CHAPTER ONE: My new life.

My story starts on a horrible night...

I woke up from the sound of things falling and voices from down stairs.. I didnt hear what they were saying but I know it was bad.. I tiptoed quietly down the stairs. As I peaked through the railings I saw my father and mother.

They seemed to be arguing about something...

I didnt know what they were arguing about but I knew it was bad because my father who never go's to violence...

Grabbed my mothers neck and started squeezing.

At that moment I couldnt contain my fear.

I let out a big scream.

"Daddy no! Dont hurt mommy"

And all he did was turn around and smile... Then he said six words that I will never forget.

"But mommy did a bad thing"

I stood there terrified by what I was witnessing.

But before I knew it my mom stoped moving...

He then walked towards me and told me to never forget him...

He asked me to promise him that I will always love him..

I didnt know what to say so I just said " of course daddy"

He then smiled as a tear went down his face..

I started to cry myself so he hugged me and said goodbye...

He then got up and went to the kitchen.. I fallowed.

He then opened the drawer that I was never allowed to open..

He pulled out a gun and positioned it right under his chin..

He then said "I love you sweet cakes"

Then before I could respond.. BOOM

He shot the gun.. He then fell to the ground.

I ran up to him with tears in my eyes..

"Daddy no!" I screamed

As I was holding him close to my heart I heard the door smash in.

I then saw cops running in with guns pointing everywhere and searching the place. When they finally came to the kitchen one of the female cops stood there with a tear down her cheek.

I looked up at her... I felt that I could trust her..

I ran to her and gave her a hug.. she picked me up and hugged me.

When all the others came down saying that the coast was clear she responded with a sentence that made me trust her even more.

"Good, but our main priority is getting this girl in a safe place... shes seen enough trama"

She then passed me over to a man. He looked at me with a smile... Its like I felt a bond.. so I just hugged him as he brought me outside.

All my Neighbors where crying around the police tape..

I was put in a police car and driven to the police station.. I then put my hand up on the window knowing that it will be the last time I see my house and my parents.

When we arrived at the station everyone was just nice to me.. I was holding the mans finger because my hands were to small. He brought me to a room with a big desk with a comfy chair. I ran up and tried to sit on it but I was to short.

I then said "up,up!" With a need in my voice.

He picked me up and put me on the chair. He then told me everything was going to be alright.

I believed him... but it didnt go like that forever. I had to go to a foster family until they could find a home for me. They were nice people but I still didnt feel at home.

I lived there until I was six... so about three years.

They then told me that I had someone that wanted to be my mother.. I was so happy!

I grabbed all my things that I could carry on my own. I ran down stairs and the person that was at the door was the police women that found me three years ago in my kitchen.

I ran to her with tears in my eyes.. I was young but I still knew that I loved her. She then picked me up and told me that " now ur my little pumpkin".

She took me to this big house with a big tree on the front yard. The grass was as green as I have ever seen! The house was a brown color with a stone suport system. She had a gorgeous garden in the front!

She told me that I can go pick one flower.. but only one.

I ran and grabbed a flower that was red.. it was a rose.. my mothers favorite flower... I started to tear up as I remembered the night..

She then conforted me assuring me that everything was gonna be alright.

She then turned me around and put a neckless around my neck.. she to.d me that when I felt scared or alone.. to just open the neckless up and look at your mommy and daddy. She also told me that there ashes were in the neckless to.

I was young but I knew what ashes were. I hugged her and said thankyou.

She then brought me inside. She asked me if I was hungry. I told her I was starving.. she made me a penut butter and jelly sandwitch. MY FAVORITE

I told her that I was happy that she was my new mommy..

She then had a tear fall down her cheek. I used my finger and wipped it off.
