William’s POV
Dinner party
As I was talking with the Alpha’s, I smelt something I’ve never smelt before, strawberries mixed with vanilla. The most amazing smell ever.
I try and look for the girl and my eyes land on Anastasia. She must have smelt it too because she seems to be looking for something or someone also. I admire her until her eyes land on mine.
Once our eyes meet. We both say “mate”
I head to her and she comes to me also
“Hi I’m-” but I’m cut of when she says
“I know who you are Alpha William”
“And I know who you are Princess Anastasia” I smirk and she blushes a bit. So cute. Ugh stop. My wolf dean is bouncing up and down he is overcome with joy and so am I
“Are you my mate?” She asks a bit unsure
I touch her hand and immediately feel sparks , I know she can feel it too coz her eyes go wide and I smirk.
“What do you think beautiful” i smirk at her.
“You have got to be kidding me” she sighs
“What’s wrong sweet cheeks” I ask
“Everyone knows you’re ego is bigger than you head” she says half serious
“Not my fault I’m handsome as hell” I say and to that she just rolls her eyes
“Well we are mates right? So better meet my parents” She leads me to her parents
“Mum, dad this is Aplha William and he’s unfortunately my mate” she sighs
“Heyyy” I cut her off. She just smiles. beautiful. Ugh stop itt
“Hello Aplha William”, Aplha Xander (ana’s father) greets while bowing his head a bit and queen Tiana does the same. I mean I am the king of Alpha’s and everyone must show me respect.
“Hello Alpha Xander and queen Tiana” I greet with my charming smile
And someone else caught my eye also. Alex.
“Hello Alpha William” Alex greets me his anger totally showing. I don’t why but Alex and I have never gotten along.
“Hello Alex” I smirk and he growls
“That’s it. Come on Alpha don’t you have somewhere else to be?” Ana asks me
“Wanna get rid of me so soon” I fake gasp
She just rolls her eyes and drags me outside.
“Careful sweetheart. You’re gonna rip my clothes soon” I tell her
“Whatever. What is it with you and my brother” she asks me
“Eh” I answer clearly not interested in this subject
“Whatever. Please don’t cause any trouble” she pleads
“Yeah yeah princess.” I roll my eyes
And with that she walks off
Anastasia’s POV
Ugh he’s so annoying. Fuck him!
“What’s up lil sis” Alex comes up to me
“I have to tell you something but don’t freak” I tell him seriously
“What is it?” He sounds scares
“I’m mates with William” I whisper
“WHATT? HOW? THAT DOUCHE? WHY MOON GODDES WHY MY LITTLE SISTER??” He shouts and everyone stares at him.
“I’m sorry. Please ignore him. Umm hes drunk” I say to everyone and they go back to doing whatever they were doing
“Now come with me you freak” I tell my brother and bring him to my room.
“YOU’RE MATES WITH WHO?” He shouts again
“SHUT UP YOU DOUCHE” I shout back
“Please tell me I head wrongly” he pleads
“Nope” I say popping the ‘p’
He groans at that and his eyes fill with anger
“It wasn’t William’s fault. No one can choose their mates. I mean even you couldn’t choose your mate ” I try to reason and at that he slaps me.
“D-did y-ou ju-st sl-ap m-e” I stutter And my eyes were filled with tears
“You deserved it. Never mention my mate again” he growls
He’s never been like this before but his mate must be a serious subject but how could he hit me. I cry and I see his eyes soften.
“I’m sorry Ana. I didn’t know what I was doing I just don’t like the topic of my mate and I don’t like you being mates with William. Just reject him” he says and my eyes widen
How could he??? How dare he manage my life. He doesn’t even know what William is like. How could he and just like that I run out of my room crying. I don’t know why I’m crying maybe because the slaps hurt so much I don’t anthing I just want to be with my mate for some reason maybe it’s the mate bond I just can’t stop crying.
My eyes try to find William and once they land on him I was shocked and I just stared at him. Tears wanting to fall out again.
