Chapter 1
I feel a rough stony texture underneath me. This is not my soft warm bed. I move my hand around me and feel dust move as I do. Im lying on my back and i slowly open my eyes to find my self facing the sky. There are small twinkles of stars as I blink trying to understand where I am and why Im here. I try to sit up but my head spins as I try so I lie back down on the dirt. Then from above all I can hear are wings, as they echo from the dark blue sky. I sit up trying to get a better look at the whinged beast. Then all of a sudden I can hear a blood-curdling screech from above. I duck quickly hoping that it misses me completely.
“Finn.......Finn” A soft feminine voice says then stops for a second.
Then she is right in front of me, She’s perched with her back legs underneath her and has beautiful green eyes that look like emeralds shining in the night sky.
Her brown chestnut hair falls down to her wist. She is wearing a dress that is as dark as the night’s sky, behind her are jet black wings that are layered with soft feathers that ever so slighty twinkle under the moon light as she slightly moves.
Her emerald like eyes peer at me for one moment then she looks up “It can’t get you” she says with a smile. “I won’t let it” I look up to the sky. Trying to figure out what “It” is.
