Jordy Anderson (No nickname until she meets Nathan)- She’s the main character of this story. She’s not popular but not non-popular per se. A food junkie. A dancer and singer she’s perusing her dream of opening a dance studio. Currently the leader of the dance group ‘The Outsiders’, consisting of Jordy and her bffs, her sister, Lexci and childhood BFF Macy. Fluent in the sarcasm and cursing department.
Nathan Daniels (Nate)- Jackson High Schools notorious ‘bad boy’. Has gone through over half of JHS’s female population. Except for The Outsiders. He takes interest in Jordy after multiple mysterious and non-mysterious run-ins. Nate’s best friend is Nixon Smith second most baddest boy in school.
Lexci Anderson (Lex)-Non biological sister of Jordy? She loves dancing just as much as Jordy does. Has no filter says what’s on her mind, not thinking of the consequences. Member of The Outsiders.
Macy Jones (M.J.)- The third member of The Outsiders. Jordy’s best friend since second grade. Always dying her hair crazy colors, changing each year. Planning to run a hair salon next to Jordy’s dance studio. Always funny and optimistic. Very self-conscious about her looks.
Nixon Smith (Nix)- JHS’s supposedly second most baddest boy. Gives off a ‘give no fucks’ vibe, but overprotective of people he cares about.
Mia Johnson (no nickname)- The mean girl of JHS. Hates Jordy for an unknown reason, but what happens when she confesses why?
Emma & Emily Daniels (M & M)-younger twin sisters of Nathan. Love pulling twin swaps on people. Looks up to The Outsiders. Both work at Jordys Moms diner (so Jordy knows them but not their brother).
