I 》nervous
I grip on my bag tightly as I keep staring at Pete high's gate. This is really it. It's my first day of senior year.
I was standing at one spot completely frozen as my mind was having a fight between not wanting to go inside infact running back to my home, andvat the same time, to go inside and prove that Kate is still in the scenario, bitches.
But to be very honest, I can't believe after all that drama that occurred last year- I'm still standing here.
People were already passing by me. Good thing was that senior year graduated which means a lot of problematic students left but again students from my batch were still here and they were no less problematic.
A lot of them were giving me weird looks. Ofcourse they thought I'd transfer to other high school after such humiliation.
My gaze fell on the garden. The place when I was humiliated, where my own best friend accused me and left me.
Last night, I almost got a panic attack, overthinking about today but I have to survive senior year. I already had enough in junior year. I spent almost my whole junior year being bullied. But I decided to end this. With being a senior year student, I'm gonna take stand for myself because I didn't do any sin. Confession isn't a sin. I promised myself that I won't let anyone humiliate me about that incident, ever again.
If they do it, they're gonna face the concequences.
"Move aside, loser." I blinked, pulling myself out of the zone. Turning my face to the person, I couldn't help but to roll my eyes. Scarlett. From the corner of my eyes, I saw people already preparing themselves for a show.
Scarlett was known for insulting everyone she laid her eyes on. She had done alot of shit to me. I was on her hit list in junior year.
But not anymore.
"Oh look, the loser of losers, our poor Kate." Scarlett shook her head flashing a fake sympathetic smile at me. I moved aside, giving her space to go. She eyed me from top to bottom and let out a big ass scoff.
Bitch.
"Nice to know you don't ever wanna talk back at me after that night." She flicked her hair and moved forward. That's when I stuck my foot in between, making her fall on her face. "Ouch!" She let out a loud Yelp.
Everyone inhaled loudly at my sudden act, trying to take in what the fuck just happened.
Okay motherfuckers, you wanted a drama. You get it.
I bowed down to her level, smirking at her. Scarlett was surely embarrassed but too shook to react at the moment. "Look at yourself before calling others with names, dumb bitch." I hissed keeping up with the blank face before standing up straight.
Scarlett gawked at me, her jaw dropped like she has seen a ghost. Obviously she would. It was the first time ever, someone not only spoke back at her but also gave her a fall on face.
"You'll pay for that, loser!" She yelled behind me as I turned my back at her, leaving the area.
Knowing that so many people already witnessed a scene here and Scarlett won't sit back without taking a revenge, I still chose to say with a loud scoff. "Sure bitchface."

The hallways never felt to strange to walk in. I already got my schedule from the office and it says that my first class was history, starting at 8:15 am. So I still had 10 minutes to roam around the high school as it was 8:05.
I noticed that it already became a new that I made Scarlett fall on her face in the morning. I've heard whispers 'isn't that Kate? The girl who confessed?' Or 'the girl Kate, Samantha's ex bestfriend just made Scarlett fall down in the parking area.'
Ofcourse I couldn't help the stares.
They all were waiting for the main person to enter in the show.
These are the people I once called my friends. Each one of them. Yea, I left all my friends after that shitty incident. They began to talk behind my back after that incident and I had to leave the toxic people who gave me nothing but stress and depression. They killed the sweet shy girl I was once.
I'm practically a loner now but I'm gonna make it my strength.
I rolled my eyes as I made my way towards my locker. No matter how much I was trying to act bold or uneffected I couldn't help the fact that I was internally screaming. I wanted to shout at these people, to ask them that why the fuck were they staring at me.
But it would only make things worst.
I opened my locker and put my books in it.
I didn't want any drama in my senior year and here I was, a scene was already created in the morning even before I was entered in the school's boundary.
Life sucks.
Is this how am I gonna stand up for myself? To end bullying? That means I have to fight with every other person who's gonna come at me. This isn't what I expected, but again, this is the only way I can stand up for myself.
I can't let anyone hurt me anymore. Both physically and mentally.
"You don't have tongue? Ah sweetie, you dumb?" I frown when I heard voices from a little far from my direction. I tilted my head to see a small crowd gathering near music hall, turBing into a big crowd slowly. "Answer me!"
Without wasting a second, I slammed my locker shut and rushed towards the crowd.
There Scarlett had her arms crossed around her chest as she glared down at a girl standing near her. She was a brunette, with redifferent highlights, long hair curled up from the ends. Tall height, strong posture, she could easily hit Scarlett. Her face lifted up when she answered, holding back an outburst. Her ears were getting red. "I only asked about the office." The girl glared at her back, speaking lightly.
"What did you just say!?" I instantly walked past the crowd to save the girl when I noticed Scarlett raising her hands. My action was immediate that I was surprised myself. Before Scarlett could push her, I came in between and held her hands.
"Enough." I threatened.
The crowd, in the matter of second, broke into loud gasps and whispers. Students were fast to take out their phones and record. I wanted to bang my head somewhere.
For fucks sake!
Scarlett's eyes grew wide and she shot the deathliest glare ever at me. "How dare you?" She hissed. "Leave my hands, right now!"
"Leave the girl alone." I said slowly. "And I'll leave them."
Scarlett narrowed her eyes me. "Stay the fuck in your lane Kate, don't make me remind you about your humiliation in the junior year party. Don't try to act bold 'cause once a loser, always a loser." She smirked.
'Ooh!!' 'Holy shit man!' 'She said that!' Could be heard. Scarlett's smirk widened when she realized she was winning.
That's when I saw red.
I pulled her towards me and spun her around, twisting her hands behind her back, tightly. Scarlett let out a loud groan n pain. "Still better than having sex with a drug addicted at welcoming junior year party and recording it for popularity."
At that moment, I witnessed the loudest gasps ever.
I roughly pushed Scarlett away, leaving my hold of her. She rubbed her wrists, breathing sharply. But she didn't speak a word.
I noticed some people were still recording. I snatched the phone from a girl's hand and threw it away. Well, shit. I just threw an iPhone X away.
"What the fuck!?" She screeched. Ugh, annoying.
"Would be better if you kept your nose away." I looked around. "And what are you all looking at?! Huh, Is this a reality show?! Go back to your classes!" I yelled at the crowed.
People we still in big shocks. Some of them rolled their eyes at me but they all left one by one, leaving me, Scarlett and the girl alone.
"You got a big mouth Evans. You'll surely pay for that." Scarlett snapped at me. Her eyes were flickering with anger.
"For the second time today but, yeah, okay." I scoffed gesturing her to get lost. Scarlett growled but left anyways.
"Oh my God," I was surprised when the girl suddenly spoke. "That's was incredible." She was gawking at me.
I let out a chuckle. "Umm, thank you?" It was a shock for myself too as for the first time I reacted to someone in that way .
She smiled widely.
"What happened back here?" Her face fell instantly at my question.
Oh no.
"I only asked her about the office but she came at me like I was her prey." The girl was making weird faces. I let out a laugh.
"Don't mind her, she's a bitch." I said. "You're a new admission?"
She nodded. "How do you know?"
"It was a guess." I laugh lightly before my frowning. "What's your name?"
"ah- oh my god! We don't even know eachothers names." She laughed. "I'm Hazel, Hazel Elton."
"Katherine Evans but call me Kate." We smiled at eachother.
"Sure thing."
I checked my wrist watch. "Did you get your schedule? If not, let's go to office for it. The first class's gonna start soon-- what?" I questioned, confusingly when I saw Hazel gasping.
"You're so sweet I mean-- what are you so sweet for girl?" She asked dramatically. "I was just about to ask you to help me and you helped me!" She held my shoulders, shaking me. I was taken off guard.
Oh man.
I began to laugh at her sudden outburst. "Okay, wow. Jesus." I tried to contain my smile. Hazel was extra sweet.
"Let's get going." I said and we both made our way towards the office.
Minus all the drama today, I guess I made a friend.
