Prologue
The sun was killing me with its almost invisible rays of light as I was running. All I could see was the pool getting smaller and smaller by every second.
I couldn't blame the people for not ever going there. It was an old rusty hole with yellowish water, and there was nothing any person could do about it.
Sure, the whole community tried to close it down, but the city never let them. It was for a reason, a very stupid reason.
I could only keep running north, due to the fact that it was the only way home. It was also one reason why I hated it. The other reason? I hated the Mexicans.
Yes. I hated Mexicans. I was one myself, though I still hated them.
I didn't hate all Mexicans, only the ones I had to deal with. They were just so rude, hard headed, and didn't like me. I am not saying I am the most beloved person in the world, that would be a lie. All I am saying is there would be more likable people then them.
There was one Mexican I hated the most, and it was Jose.
Jose had always been my enemy from the day we crossed paths. Since then something just clicked and all of a sudden we hated each other.
From then on we did cruel pranks on each other, always insulted each other, and sometimes made each other cry. I wasn't all our fault, that was just how the cookies crumble.
Were people annoyed of the way we went? Yes. Did we take even a little care? Nope.
