“Jump!” yelled my older brother Jacob he is the next heir in line of the pack.
“Im trying, but its too hard.” I whined
“Try harder than Ace we have to hurry before the storm!” he told me urgently and pushing me forward
“OK i got this.” i breathed in and backed up,“I got this” I ran toward the ledge and jumped across. Then he jumped after me.
“Hurry we have to go if this storm do not get us then dad might.” We started running with fear at the end of our tail we had finally made it to the cave and entered quietly.
“DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT CAN HAPPEN TO A WOLF IN A STORM!” yelled our farther

“NO dont dad me just do better Jacob your going to be the next leader all this freedom you have will disappear one day and you endangering your brother is worst than you endangering the pack.” my farther sighed and walked away to go take head count.
“So what you do outside did you catch a duck was it brown or yellow i preferentially like yellow ducks it fits the description oh did you catch a bear instead you did huh?” “W-” No you didn’t then what did you do outside huh you dating a wolf in another pack?” “We-” “oh so my brothers players!” she said interrupting us again.
“First stop talking fast and breathe, second we were out looking at the river and we heard the thunderstorm and started heading back home.” said my brother defensively
“You to are boring where the excitement wheres the drama wheres the romance wheres the i want to eat your face till yo-”
“OK, OK enough of that.” interrupted our mother walking up with June by her.
“Its time for bed, Jacob take June to the pond and Skyler go annoy your farther he looks lonely and Ace go stang guard its your turn today.” and with that she left off with not a crunch of a branch. “How can she walk like that hses stepping all over leaves?”

“Like these furry feet would be heard miles away!” I walked away from her as she was talking irritated from her cutting me off and headed toward the cave to guard it from enimeis and other frightful animals who dont have the decency to sleep at night.
