Pepper
It was just 3 days before when mom asked me that we can have a pet kitten and we started searching for it.
Being dreaming for a pet since childhood, I was getting emotional, happy and excited. I started speaking to owners of the pets. Started meeting the kittens. I came across some cute kittens, some very pretty kittens and some really adorable kittens. But the one who stole our heart was a 2 month old grey haired and green eyed kitten, covered in fur. My mom fell in love with him on pictures. And my heart had already accepted him as a part of our family.
The best part of this memory was that my sister was unaware. We decided to keep this as a surprise for her.
A day before the heart stealer arrived, I was excited. And just a day before I arranged and ordered all the essential needs for him. Cleant the house, ordered his toys, and was just excited and damn hyper.
On my way to pick up the kitten, I was thinking how will I react when I pick him up? How soft will he be? How should I call him? Thoughts and questions were just pouring. That moment was unexplainable.
Rushing home, I waited outside the door to record my sister's expression. She initially didn't like him but she fell in love with his innocence. I got him in this cute basket, heard him mew and my heart melted.
He was small and cuddly like a furball. And trying to explore the new home, his new mom and 2 new sisters. His expressions were priceless.
We never thought a kitten would be a part of our family. But who could ignore an innocent devil like him?
3 hours passed as we got him. And we didn't know what to call him. Suddenly my sister looking at him called him "PEPPER" and so we found a name for the furball...
