What's that light?
She was crying in her room.She was crying like there is no tommorow.She was engaged to Marco Tornilius.Marco "Egomaniac" Tornilius.The biggest jerk in Rome.He also happens to be the only one whose parents agreed for them to marry.Her family was poor.Well,they had prestige but they were in debt.She was an only child.She was her parent's last hope of ever being respected again.She was devisteted.She had to marry someone she doesn't love or even like just so her parent's need of being seen as aristocrasy can be fullfiled.
She did what she always did when she was sad.She took a walk in the garden thinking about her life and her destiny.Did she have to do this?Why does everyone keep pushing her to do this?How can anyone think she could possibly be happy about this?Why do her parents want her to do this if she isn't happy?She kept on walking like this until something caught her eye.
"What's that light?"she taught.
It was a light.A blue light who seemed to have drawned her.She wanted to get closer to it and touch it.At first she wanted to resist it.She didn't know what it was or why it was there.What if something happend to her?How would her parents react?But then she taught:
"What if it leads to somewhere better?"
That taught made her somewhat happy.Maybe it would lead her to a place where she could do waht she wants.She didn't care anymore what would happen.All she knew was that she was standing there and that there was a possible escape from her worries.She didn't think anymore.
She touched it.
