Lost
I'm lost there isn’t anyone here but Joseph…
First it was Jay, then it was Max, then Mia, then Ayla. I don’t know where I’m supposed to go but I always go straight, because maybe I’ll find home. I kneeled down and dipped my water bottle into the lake, then I dipped Joseph’s water bottle into the lake. I stood, and walked back towards where I last saw Joseph.
“You here Joseph?” I called out. I could hear birds singing. “I guess he is out hunting…” I mumbled. I sat down and started looking around. Around sunset Joseph returned.
“What took you so long?” I looked at him as he sat beside me. He didn’t answer me he just shrugged. I sighed and picked up his bottle and gave it to him. The next morning when I woke I heard talking. I stood and went out to see what was happening.
“So there’s more than just you” I hear Joseph say. I sit down beside Joseph.
“What’s going on?” I mumble, I see a young girl, small brown eyes, short, long black hair.
“Who’s she?” I ask.
“You don’t remember?!” Joseph says. “It’s Mae the mute girl!” I shrug. The girl… Mae shakes my hand and looks back at Joseph.
