Box
“Where am I? Wait is that-” Then the sudden noise of her alarm clock woke her up.
“You stupid alarm clock! Now I’ll never know what happens in my-” She got cut off by the doorbell ringing.
“WHY DOES EVERYTHING CUT ME OFF!?” She shouted in annoyance.
She opened my door only to see a box lying on the floor.
"TO MS. BROOKLYN." She says as her reads the sign on the box. She looks around hoping to see someone, but the street was literally empty. "Strange," She says to herself, "What could this be?"
She took a pair of scissors from the kitchen and went to the box.
When she was about to open the box, her phone rang.
She looked at my phone and saw that it was from her boss.
She quickly answered it , cause what’s the worst thing that could happen, right?
“Good mor-” She was going to greet her boss but he started yelling, “WHERE ARE YOU!?! ITS YOUR TURN TO OPEN THE CAFE REMEMBER?!?”
"What cafe? Right, I work at a cafe near the beach."She thought to herself. “I’m so sorry, my alarm didn’t work.” She lied.
He sighs, “Look, your my best friend and all but that doesn’t mean you can slack off. This will be your last warning.” He said strictly.
“Fine, I’ll be there in 30 minutes.” She says as she hang up.
"Why do I even have to work? Right, nevermind. I just remembered that I was a 21 year old woman that is living by herself." She says to herself. "What do I even want to do in my life? Do I stay in the cafe all my life? Argh! TOO MANY QUESTION IN MY HEAD!"
She decided that maybe a hot shower would help her clear her mind. The hot shower didn’t really help, although normally it should. After she took a shower, she got out, dried herself, wore her clothes and then brushed her teeth.
As she get out of the shower, she noticed the box that she got this morning. She decided to ignore it since she only has 15 minutes left until she has to go to work and it takes her 10 minutes to walk towards the cafe.
She thought it was best if she had my breakfast at the cafe, since.... it’s a cafe.
