Were here

Hello my name is Olivia.I’m 10 years old . I have an 8 year old brother,Justin. We just moved in to our new house I’m sitting in my bedroom setting up things my mom said we could buy new clothes Saturday. We had to immediately moved because we were invaded by Adolf Hitlers troops so now we live in the country. We used to live in Paris,France now we live in someplace called Memphis,Tennessee our grandma lived there her name is Caroline. So now I live here.It is the year 1944.My grandma lives on the lake in a log cabin. It’s not very big it has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. So now we live here.its a beautiful view of the river from my window in a rotten house it’s a very tiny window. My dad and mom went back to Paris to help. There was a battlefield on the other side of the river there are huge planes over there. The second night without our parents a huge plane crashed I’m assuming they were test driving them it woke everyone up grandma put us under the dining room table.I hit my head hard one million times probably grandma looked out the window she had blackout curtains everyone in town did so if Germans tried to bomb us hopefully the wouldn’t se light so they wouldn’t be able to see where the town is at night. She said it wasn’t a bomb just a plane that crashed and up to bed. I couldn't sleep very well that night,my brother couldn’t either.
