The Sun and the Moon

In the beginning, before land or time, there was a man named Sun and a woman named Moon. They loved each other very much and were very happy together. As they grew happier and fell more deeply into love, Sun started to shine. His light illuminated Moon's pale beauty. This made him happy and his light grew, and grew, and grew. His light grew so much he broke the darkness. Now there was light, illuminating everything. But Sun's light was hurting Moon and the dark, she realized that there must be balance or else all would fall. Moon said to Sun that they must part and keep the Earth between them. Yet the Sun could not bare not being with his sweet Moon. He decided that when it was dark he would still illuminate her pale beauty, and as they switched places in the sky during dusk and dawn, that he would pai the sky, for his sweet Moon to enjoy. And Moon smiles, all he does for her makes her smile. A smile so wide you can see it on her face even from Earth. Yet sometimes you can find them in the sky at the same time, they are happiest those days.
