Terrible day
A man and a woman open the front door to their home in the forest.It started to rain as they watched in horror to see a newborn baby crying,rapped in a white blanket with a note that said “please take care of her.I don’t want her invovled in my destiny.so I put her in your hands.Her name is avianna”.They looked at the crying baby in pity.They also wanted a child and thought this was a blessing from the moon goddess herself.

I woke up to my single bed and looked at my clock on the side table to birds chirping and a small wind blow into my open bedroom window.hmm another day of terrible college.I drag myself out of my bed to head to the bathroom.I take a quick shower and get into some jeans pants and a dull pink shirt. I grab my backpack and stuff my computer,textbooks,and homework into the bag. Dashing down the stairs I catch a glimpse of my mom cooking. I can smell the bacon and eggs from the frying pan to the base of the staircase.” Hey sweety finally came down for breakfast”my mom says while putting down two containers inside holding some food. “Be careful out there,remember to make sure that no one saw you come out of the woods, and good luck at your new job” my mom says with a smile on her face. Even though having to be cautious all the time it’s kind of important that we keep our species a secret. I’m about to make it out the door when a manly voice comes from behind me.”leaving without saying bye to your old man?”my father says with a smirk on his face.”ok dad goodbye see you later”I chuckle as I say as I hug my dad.” I walk out the door over to my Jeep when I hear my dad call out .” Can you pick some herbs when your coming back? “saying while running towards me with my basket.
“Ok I will dad”I say as he hands me the basket.
Putting it down on the passenger seat beside me I start the car,close the door ,and I head off onto a dirt road.
When I make it to the college parking lot I spot a familiar red head out of the side of my eye. Dammit Brianna’s here which means so is Jayden. With a quick movement I’m out my car. Going as fast as I can I get my bag out the backseat and start running for the door” Oh Avianna there you are!”I hear a shriek voice say.
Sushi rolls! Not stoping I sprint forward and push the door open into the busy hallway. Not waisting another second I jog to my locker and putting the bag inside and grabbing the homework and computer.
Before I can reach the door a strong arm grabs my wrist.crap. I turn around to see Jayden’s angery face.”you really thought I wouldn’t catch you” he hisses. “Jayden I told you I don’t want to be your girlfriend when you already have one , now let me go”I shout at him. Bad idea, he pulls at my arm and pushes me into the locker next to the classroom.”whether you like it or not your going to be mine” he breathes inches from my face. He starts coming closer when a woman’s voice is heard and Jayden freezes.”Now Jayden unless you want to be sent to detention, and have this young lady call the police and get you charged for harassment then I suggest that you go to class.
Without hesitating he gets off me and storms off down the now empty hallway. “Thank you Ms.Davis”I say while picking up my computer and book off the floor.thank the gods for having computer cases.”No problem but you really need to call the cops on that boy, he never seems to leave you alone” she explained with a concerned look on her face. I tried but they said bruises weren’t enough evidence to bring him to court. I walk in to the classroom and sit at a table my best friends at.”hey girl how you’ve been?”I say with a smile.
“Don’t ‘hey girl’ like nothing happened!”my friend Ava hisses.”sorry sorry but,what happened outside was that bad !?”I say looking at Ava’s dumbfounded face.”that bad? THAT BAD!? The TEACHER had to tell him off and told you to call the police ,so yes it was that bad!!”she exclaims with anger.”ok class let’s start the lesson”Ms.Davis says hushing the class.she turns on the projector and starts the lesson.
I was able to make it out of the building alive and walked to the car. I froze when I smelt caramel chocolate all of sudden. I look behind me to see no one . What just-.i cut myself off and get in the car.
I made it to a clearing in the woods with the different herbs dad wanted.I hop out the car and grab the basket which had a few empty bottles in it.Walking it to the clearing I found three types of healing herbs towards the edges of the clearing,four ofence types on one tree and the rest of the defense types were in the middle of the clearing.after picking some I headed towards the middle to pick the last amount I needed. The smell of chocolate came back and I could smell it amongst the clearing.Did someone make chocolate here or-. My thoughts were cut short when I heard a twig snap.”who’s there?”I ask with a shaky voice.”mine” I hear a husky voice say behind me.i jump in surprise and to turn around to see a tall muscular man with dark olive skin.” What!?”
