Chapter 1
I had gotten an invitation to my friend’s birthday party. I ran upstairs to tell Hailie about the invite. “That’s cool. Can I come?” Hailie said.
“Let me call my friend and ask?” I said. I asked my mom if I can use her phone to call my friend. “Okay, but to ONLY call your friend, okay?”, She said.
“Okay”, I responded. So I got on the phone and I called the friend,” Hey, can my cousin please come with me?”.
“Sure, she can come, more guests, more fun.”, He excitingly said. The invite said the party was tomorrow so we sat in bed and watched videos on our pad till’ the next day. I woke up and totally forgot about the party. I headed for the kitchen and my mom said,” Are you ready for today?”.
“What do you mean” I said confused.
