Chapter 1 -the discovery-
She was traumatized buy her mother’s passing and It scared her emotionally,Her name is Alexis and this is her story.Alexis Jade Harper was born March 1st 2002 she was born is Salem ,Massachusetts she was born on a full moon, wolfs howling and as a shooting darted across the night sky. She is a special girl with a purpose in life. In my heart I knew she was powerful and strong. Her very first word was magic,that is pretty special simply because we had never spoken about our family’s secret around her.She always loved fairy’s and unicorns and mermaids too ,but don’t all little girls?she had a deep passion for these things she didn’t just love them, she felt she was one and could fly magically through the air like a fairy and swim deep into the warm tropical waters or the Caribbean like a mermaid she truly believed with all of her heart that she was magical and knew and trusted her gut from the start. She is very intelligent but not in your average classes while she couldn’t tell you about math or English. she was always good at telling you facts about ancient witch practices or anything about the Salem witch trial and things of that sort ,but she was saying all of these things yet she was only 5 she new the material very well and she wasn’t Even taught it she new it like it was ingraved in her heart or that she had seen or taken part in old Wiccan practices or been and experienced the Salem witch trials she knew more things than anyone or any text book. When she was only 8 sadly her mother passed away in a car accident. it was on the night of her 8th birthday her mom was driving out to get Alexis’s birthday cake but sadly a drunk driver rear ended hear car on a bridge and she rolled off the side into the deep cold waters below. After her mother’s passing Alexis would not get in any car for years she was too afraid she would go like her mother. Alexis was scared she didn’t have any friends in school because she was too shy to talk to anyone all of her friends had left her after her mother passed because Alexis wouldn’t talk because of how sad she was. When Alexis was 15 she started high school just on the first day she was getting g bulled because she didn’t have a mom people would call her nasty names and make ugly faces and even write stuff on her car once she got her license. When she turned 17 she had just had enough of the bullying but she wasn’t gonna give up. Alexis knee she had too much purpose and meaning in her life just to give up. She knew that’s not what her mother wanted for her so she struggled through the years but know she was done with it.She had went to her grandmas house after school because her mother always to her that grandma keeps the magic but she didn’t understand that as a child but know she knew.she asked her grandma about her problems at school and her grandmother handed a old dusty book. She had now clue why her grandma would give her a book that wouldn’t solve her bully problems. She took the book home and read it word for word she didn’t understand when she had come across a page that said
“True magic comes from within “
She knew it meant something important she but what? She went back to school the following Monday , a girl named Chloe walked up to her, she had an ugly grin on her face as she walks slowly and sassily towards Alexis , and she dumped her hot coffe right on Alexis head. Chloe told her “don’t you wish mommy was here to clean you off” Chloe cackled at her joke but no one else did .all of the sudden Alexis’s palms started getting hot and red Alexis’s heart was beating at a pace so face she could hardly breath. Chloe’s word triggered Alexis it brought back picture and memories in to Alexis mind . Those memory’s where her favorite memories with her mother like when her mom took her to the aquarium when she was 6. Chloe’s words and Alexis memories made her so sad and angry within five seconds Chloe was high up in the air then slammed to the floor struggling to breath Chloe had her breath knocked out of her just by a flick of Alexis’s wrist. Chloe ran away screaming and crying to her group of friends. Alexis now under stood the saying in the book.
