Prologue
“QUAN!” I screamed, trying to free myself from his grip. “STOP!”
He had me pinned to the bed, his body weight holding me in place and with one hand he held both of mine. My cheek still stung from the slap that he delivered to my face for my initial denial of him. With his free hand, Quan slapped me again but harder than before. I opened my mouth to scream, but Quan grabbed my chin none to gently. Tears welled up in my eyes as I glared up at him.
“When I want something,” he said, leaning down toward me, “I get it.”
“I’m not in the mood,” I said through clenched teeth, pulling my face from his grip.
“Then you better get in the mood,” he replied.
Shaking my head, I moved to sit up. Quan grabbed me by my neck and pushed me back down. I moved to sit up again and he pushed me back down with more force. Quan’s grip on my neck tightened making me whimper. I tried to pull my hands free and his grip tightened more.
“Quan.” I choked, squirming beneath him, “this is rape.”
“No,” he smirked, applying more pressure, “you call it rape. I call it taking what’s mine.”
Tears began to leak from my eyes. I tried everything I could to get him off me, but nothing worked. I whimpered once more and relaxed in defeat. Grinning, Quan leaned down to my ear.
“Za, I love you,” he nuzzled my cheek, “so don’t make me do something I’ll regret.”
He released his hold on my throat and hands. I gasped and inhaled greedily resulting in a coughing fit. Touching my neck, I calmed myself down and looked up at Quan. He smiled and moved some hair behind my ear.
“Now are you gonna behave and give me what I want?” he asked.
With wide eyes and no words, I nodded slowly. He caressed my cheek and kissed my lips softly.
“Good girl,” he said as a tear slid down my cheek.
