Don’t Leave The Window Open

One day there was a girl named Madi and she was home alone with her best friend since they were 2, Bianca and it was a really windy night, trees blowing, leaves flying around everywhere, the screens doors blowing open and shut constantly. Madi and Bianca were on the first floor(also known as the game room) during the bad storm, they had the music turned all the way up and they were living in the moment, they were having fun. They danced as if no one was watching(because nobody was) and decided to play a game called truth or dare and the dares if I might add were pretty…. Daring! I bet your dying to know what kind of dares they had to do. So I will start off by saying that one of the dares that Madi had to do was go skinny dipping in the neighbors pool, Bianca had to scream everything she wanted to say. In other words no more talking for Bianca, Madi on the other hand.. She was a little cold and embarrassed. After the truth or dare game, they had went upstairs to Madi’s room and they had heard a noise downstairs, the girls had just thought that it was Madi’s parents or brother that had came home. After going down to see what all the commotion was they discovered that it was the wind, Madi and Bianca kept hearing the wind hissing and swaying and when they went back up to the room they had discovered that the leaves from outside had blown into Madi’s room, causing a big big mess that had to be cleaned up before her parents(Ashley and Danny) had came home the next morning. With all of the commotion going on upstairs the girls had forgot to lock the door downstairs and heard a loud bang. THERE WAS SOMEONE IN THE HOUSE WITH A CLOWN MASK ON! There was nothing the girls could do but run, scream, hide and call for help. So at that moment they went to hide in the closet and Madi had called her parents and Bianca called the police. Seconds later the intruder had found where the girls were hiding out, and so they had screamed as loud as they could and ran up stairs to Madi’s room and went and hid out in the treehouse that was built a couple feet away from the window. Once they got into the treehouse they were so quiet they didn’t even make a peep, they kept looking out to see if they were able to see the intruder come towards them. After so long they didn’t hear or see any more commotion, so they thought that he had left and then BOOM! They felt the treehouse shake and looked down to see what was making the tree move like that and it was the intruder, he started to climb up the treehouse to where the girls were at with a chainsaw in his hand. “He found us” Madi said, Bianca and Madi screamed and then saw the police lights coming toward them so they had screamed louder and louder. Moments later the police had arrived and unmasked the intruder and found out that it was Madi’s brother! Madi was in disbelief when the true identity was discovered of who the intruder actually was, she called her parents and told her everything. Ashley and Danny were confused on why Mike would do something like this, maybe he was just trying to pull a trick on Madi and Bianca. After all of this happening the police had to take Mike into custody to sort everything out, since he is only 17 Ashley and Tom had to cut their trip short. After all of this commotion that had just took place Madi and Bianca had went and stayed at Bianca’s house until everything was sorted out. Bianca had asked Madi if she knew why her brother would want to do something like this to us… to her, his own sister. At that point she didn’t have any answers, she was still in shock over what had just happened to them. When Bill and Tom had arrived at the police station with Mike they had sat him down in the interview room until his parents had got there but he had decided that he didn’t want to wait, he just wanted to tell them what happened. Mike had started telling them how he had came home early and decided that he wanted to pull a prank on Madi and Bianca because they are always pulling pranks on him when his friends are over. He already knew that they were both scared with the storm that was approaching so he wanted to kick things up a notch. He heard them go downstairs to check out and see what was going on and when they had went back upstairs he had went to the shed in the backyard where his dad keeps all the tools and got his chainsaw out to scare the girls. After he got the chainsaw he snuck back around to the front of the house and he saw Madi and Bianca coming back downstairs and was waiting by the front door with a mask and the chainsaw in his hand. He told the cops at the police station that it was just a little prank between siblings that had got out of hand. They decided that since Mike had a clean record that they were going to let him off with a warning this time. His parents finally showed up after they had decided to let him go, Mike may have gotten off easy with the cops but Danny on the other hand was furious that he would let things get this out of hand while they went out of town. The car ride home was nothing but dead silence, no one knew what to say. When they arrived back at the house Danny, Ashley and Mike all went in the living room to talk about what happened. Mike told them what had happened and Danny just couldn’t believe that he would do something like that to his own sister, “SHE IS ONLY 14” Danny yelled. They were trying to figure out what would make him want to do something this extreme to some 14 year olds. Mike said that he was just trying to get back at Madi and Bianca for all the pranks that they have pulled on him over the years. At that point they were disappointed that he would take a prank this far, they told Mike that he needed to apologize to Madi and Bianca but he told them “I’m not going to be sorry for something that they have been doing to me for years!” At this time Danny and Ashley are stumped on what to do next. Should they punish Mike for what he did, let him off this time because it was just a prank taken to far or should they talk with Bianca and Madi? So they decided that they were going to have to think about it for a couple of days then at the end of the week come to a decision together. Everyone had went up stairs to go to bed for the night after such a long day and just as Danny was walking by the kids room he had overheard Mike on the phone with someone saying that he was playing everyone, he enjoyed doing what he did to Madi and Bianca. He described every single detail while he was on the phone with his friend from planning the whole thing for a month, to making sure his parents took their trip so they would be out of the house, EVERYTHING! In a nutshell Mike was playing his parents, Bianca, Madi… EVERYONE! Once they found out that they were all being played they decided a little revenge never hurt anyone, so everyone got together once they knew Mike was out of the house and came up with a plan to get their revenge on him. While Mike was out of the house everyone got together and came up with the idea that they are all pretty much going to play him the way he played all of them. Here was the plan, Danny and Ashley was going to continue to make Mike think that he was getting off with what he did and that he was not in trouble but that Madi and Bianca was. Everyone put on the act to make him believe that all this was true, and he did think that this was actually real like he was not in trouble but Madi and Bianca were. The crazy thing about all of this is the fact that he doesn’t suspect anything is wrong and that everyone is acting like they normally do and that nothing suspicious is going on, but it’s not but Mike doesnt know that he is being played...YET! Mike heard Ashley and Danny telling Bianca that she had to go home and telling Madi that she needed to go to her room for a while, when the girls got told that they played along because they knew that it is all part of the plan to get their revenge on Mike. When Mike heard this he smiled because in his mind he had won and he got away with everything that he had done to the girls. Meanwhile Madi and Bianca had gotten in trouble for the doing the same thing as Mike did, “How is that fair” Madi said to Danny and Ashley. Ashley responded by saying “life is not always fair, you live and you learn.” At this time everyone was sitting together in the living room when suddenly they heard someone knocking on the door, it was Bianca and her mom, Charlotte. Charlotte was in on the plan so she was playing along so she was playing along, she asked why Bianca was asked to leave when Mike was the one who pulled the prank on my daughter. Ashley and Danny told Charlotte that the girls have been pulling pranks on Mike for a long time now and they didn’t think it was fair to punish him for a little revenge prank that took a turn for the worse. Charlotte and Ashley started arguing, yelling at each other and getting loud towards one another, because of all this happening Mike thought that punches were about to be thrown, but he was sadly mistaken. Ashley had told Charlotte that she didn’t send Bianca home to punish her it was so that she wasn’t there to see what was going to happen next. Charlotte asked what she was talking about, what was about to happen when Bianca was asked to leave? Ashley and Danny looked at each other and smirked then they both said “this is was she was not supposed to be here to witness,” so at this point in time they both turned to Madi and Bianca and said that they should not have been pulling pranks all these years on Mike but they were not going to punish either one of them for little pranks, siblings all over the place pull harmless pranks on each other. After saying all of that to Bianca and Madi they turned to Mike and said “now your turn.” You didn’t just pull a harmless prank on the girls, you chased them around the house, the backyard, chased them all the way into a treehouse with a chainsaw, A CHAINSAW FOR CRYING OUT LOUD MIKE! What was the whole point in all of this when you could of pulled a harmless prank and none of this would of happened to you, you would not be standing in front of me getting in trouble. What i am about to say to you is really going to upset you but it is for the best son. Since what you did to the girls was a lot more than a harmless prank, you will be turning in the car keys, you will not go anywhere but to and from school and to and from work starting today. Mike tried to fight the punishment, let’s see how that turned out shall we? But that isn’t even fair! It was just a prank that went further expected and they pulled a lot more pranks on me than just this one that i pulled on them. Now how fair does that sound to you father? Danny began to tell him; son, life isn’t always fair and life is about learning from your mistakes and dealing with the consequences, starting now.
