Jakes House

All things were good at Jakes house. His mom tells his sister to be back around ten, but does she ever listen, No! She usually gets back around eleven or eleven thirty. Jakes mom never says anything, except how was your date dear? Jake thinks his mom is just glad that she made it home safely.

0

Jake's sister went on her date while Jake and his mom watched a couple of movies, ate popcorn and had a couple of mixed drinks. Jake was turning 18 in a couple of days, so his mom decided to let him try it.

0

The last movie was over,so Jake started to head up stairs to bed but not before giving his mom a hug. His mom looks at him with her hands on his shoulders and said, "I'll be up in a minute to tell you good night, after I turn off the TV and pick up the empty cups and bowls."

0

" OK ," Jake said as he turned away and headed up stairs to his room.

0

Jakes mom headed to the kitchen with the dishes and no sooner than she placed them in the sink she heard a knock at the door.

0

" Who could this be at this hour?" she wondered as she quickly walked through the living room to the door. As she opened the door she saw a woman dressed in black standing there.. The woman had long dark hair that matched her low cut black dress . she was a beautiful woman other than her mascara running down her face. it looked like she had been crying.

0

"May I help you? Jakes mom said as a puzzled look came across her face.

0

" Yes mam, My name is Beth, my car broke down. down the road a little piece and I was wondering if I could use your phone?"

0

" Sure, let me grab it off of the counter for you. It's in the kitchen."

0

"Thank you, so much." Beth said as she smiled.

0

" Your welcome, why don't you come in. It's starting to rain."

0

"Thank you," Beth said as she slowly entered the house with a wicked grin.

0

She led Beth into the living room and said, "Make your self at home. I will be right back, it will only take a moment."

0

Beth slowly licked her lips and smiled as if Jakes mom was going to be a savory snack. Beth just stood there for a minute watching Jakes mom disappear into the kitchen and then she followed.

0

As Jakes mom picked her phone up off of the counter beside the microwave she was touched on the shoulder. As she turned around, she couldn't believe what she was looking at. She was looking into the face of something evil and it didn't look like Beth, but than it did. Jakes mom tried to scream, but couldn't for she was frozen with fear. As tears started to run down her face. Beth just stood there for a minute looking at her and licking her lips and then she grabbed her. Blood splattered everywhere as Jakes moms body shook and collapsed to the floor.

0

" I love the smell of fresh blood," Beth said with a grin as she stood there looking at Jakes moms lifeless body.

0

Beth slowly made her way upstairs. As she got closer to Jakes room.she could hear Jake starting to say his prayers. As she listened, she slowly opened the door and crept in starring at Jake hungrily with her eyes black as night and her mouth open barring her sharp teeth waiting for the moment to strike.

0

Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord, my soul, he'll keep. If I die---before Jake could finish his prayer he heard a voice behind him say you're going to die. As Jake stood up he was grabbed and thrown onto his bed. he was now looking at something face to face he never knew existed. Its eyes were black as coal, its teeth were long and razor-sharp dripping with blood and its breath was foul. Before Jake could scream he was grabbed and bitten. As blood soaked the covers and started to drip onto the floor. Beth drank from Jakes' neck viciously. As Beth stood up, she peered over the body rubbing her hands together and biting her lower lip as if in fulfillment and then jumped out the window.

0

It's eleven thirty-five Jennifer was returning home from her date with Brad. Jennifer couldn't help but smile as Brad pulled in to her driveway and parked the car. Brad got out and walked over to the passenger side and opened the door for her as he smiled and said, " Let me walk you to the door.?"

0

" OK; sure," Jennifer said as she took his hand and smiled.

0

The closer they got, Jennifer could sense something was wrong as she and Brad approached the door.

0

They held on to each other as they entered the house, not knowing what was waiting for them.

0

Jennifer looked up at Brad and told him to stay here in the living room while I go and check the kitchen.

0

"OK; I will," Brad said as he sat in a recliner that was facing the kitchen.

0

Jennifer walked to the kitchen and dropped to her knees screaming!, "Oh, God!,Oh, God!, Help me!"

0

Brad jumps up and runs to her side. As he looks into the kitchen he sees blood everywhere and Jennifer's mother laying on the floor dead.

0

Brad is shaking but manages to grab a hold of Jennifer and help her up."We need to get out of here!" Brad says in frantic voice.

0

"No!, I have to get my brother. He should be in his room, I hope." Jennifer said as she took off running to her brother's room.

0

"Wait!, I'm coming with you!" Brad said, but she was already gone upstairs.

0

Brad started to walk up the stairs when he felt a sharp pain in his neck, before he could turn around he collapsed to the floor. As he looked up all he could see was a woman standing over him and then he fell into pure darkness as he took his last breath.

0

Jennifer got to her brother's room, slowly she opened the door and peeked inside. As her eyes adjusted to the dark. she noticed him standing by the window.

0

" Jake!, thank god you are OK. What the hell happened?" Jennifer said as she walked up to him.

0

"Jake! Did you hear me?" She said as she put her hand on his shoulder.

0

"Yes, I heard you," he said in a raspy voice. As he turned around and looked at her with a smirk on his face.

0

"You're not my brother!" she yelled as she started to slowly back away.

0

"Your right, I'm not. Well, not anymore ."Jake said as he grabbed her and ripped her throat out.

0

Jake stood back and starred at her lifeless body and just started laughing, this god awful laugh that echoed through the house. He took one last look at her before jumping out the window and vanishing into the night.

truben21: It took me a while to get into the flow of this story, but once I did, I was hooked. The female lead step from naivety to siren was a little fast for me, but I guess it needed to be, to move the story along. I can't wait for the next story, with the cliff hanger whetting my appetite.
