The Upside of Down
"This is a must read! The author puts you in the room with each character. The story line shows such realism that it is difficult to imagine a writer putting on a page without having been there. He might have experienced one character but could not have been all of them. The books moves well with the correct amount of time on the various scenarios; and conveys a good “today” message. "

"The writing style was exceptional, allowing me to connect with the characters’ lives and emotions. Set in Charleston, the dynamics of the interracial relationships were thought provoking and real. This was a definite page turner and I didn’t want it to end. I hope to read more from James McCluskey!"
