Usually, a story starts typically with once upon a time...but this is going to be different. Meet Zander Robbins. A young man who was headed towards his junior year, but sadly ended up spending it at a different school. His father gained a new job in an unknown, small city, out in almost the middle of nowhere.
The city was very elegant for anyone to even breathe in. Now, Simon and Melissa Robbins were not your typical parents. In fact, they kept the most dirtiest secret. But we'll talk later. For now, it is time to see how Zander's world went from sunshine and rainbows to black skies and thunderstorms.
You see, Zander wasn't too hyped to move, but he was willing to continue in a positive path. Now sadly, he had to leave his best friend behind. Ryan William was the crazy, handsome boy that just wished to live like any other.
But overall, he greatly doubted the normalness of this new school.
"Man, I've heard unclean stories and about all the arrows they throw at normalness."
Zander never wanted to believe a word he said. That is until everything hit him like the heaviest rock. Rampaige High is...well, perfection. And no matter the words or actions, perfection is key.
Zander was unpacking his bags as his computer was already set up and opened wide for him to video-chat with Ryan.
"I'm sorry bro, but that school is NOT any regular school. It's full of vanity and deceit."
Zander rolled his eyes and closed his dresser doors as he sat in front of the screen.
"Look man, I think my parents would know if this city was too shallow. And it's not. It's just one of those very fancy places."
"What about the people? Have you met or seen what one single person stands alone?"
Zander chuckled as his mother walked in.
"Hey sweetie! Hi Ryan!"
"Yo, what up Mrs. Robbins!"
"I hope you boys are plotting any trouble.."
"Of course not, mom. We were just discussing about the school and the city."
She intensively grasped his shoulders.
"Oh, I am so excited for what this school and city will store for our future! Dinner starts in 5."
She stepped out as Zander stressed over the reminder that he will have a lot of homework. Ryan remained in doubt.
"Yo man, I'm telling you, trust no one! These students are nothing ordinary! They will destroy you."
"What exactly makes you think this?"
"I don't think. I know because that's what all these new students have informed me."
He rolled his eyes as his mother called from downstairs.
"Look man, I'll be fine. They're just people, not God."
"Don't say I didn't warn you."
They said their goodbyes and Zander headed downstairs. As he took his last step, he found a young woman with a cute smile standing with his parents.
"Zander, meet our neighbors daughter, Samantha Shaw."
She seemed sweet and had a kind presence. By the first sight, Zander was already crushing.
"Hi. I just thought I'd introduce myself. It feels pretty great to have new neighbors. The last ones were pretty stingy."
The Robbins became pretty close with her and loved her personality. And as Ryan intended through the chat, she replayed his words in her own form, making it more scary a bit for Zander.
It became the first day of school and Zander was in for a ungrateful treat. One ugly taste.
As he walked in, the buidling was full of clean, shiny, designed floors, objects, and stunning.....students. He was stunned to see all these outfits and accessories. The teachers were not even anything basic. The walls were full of gold and everyone basically wore the word 'expensive' across their chest. The material of their clothing and the material they wore was some thing you don't find at any normal store. Everything was fancy, elegant, and uncommon. Now no one else looked at Zander as one of their own of course. Number one rule, normal must not be anywhere near the entrance of the schools doors. He turned over to see their school phrase.
"Beauty is your blood. Vanity is your vein. And Perfection is key!"
The students came at him one by one. They began the storm.
"Dude, what's with the trashy outfit?"
"Clean it up, you look like those basic bitches."
"What are you wearing, year one?"
"Are you trying to title us as fools?"
"We don't allow tools to enter this kingdom."
He was saddened, but he just suddenly knew he was in a deep deep ditch.
He slowly walked to his locker until he was shoved against it. Everyone pointed, gossiped, and laughed at him. He decided to head to the bathroom. As he walked in, he stared at the mirror. All he could think was
'What's wrong with me? Is this really happening?'
Three stall doors opened and three handsome young men walked out and gave the most disgusting look. Zander began feeling worried and rushed up to their faces.
"Is this not okay to wear?..Am I satisfying to you?"
All he wore was a beanie, designer shirts, fancy watches, and sick vans. Apparently, it was not the look. It was just poor to their eyes. They all teased him as Dylan grabbed his shirt.
"Dude, wherever you're shopping at, needs to stop! Obviously these jeans and shirt are a no no. Did you really think you could just walk through those doors looking like some poor man?"
James and Liam noticed the wrongs on him that go against what they think is perfect.
"What's up with these pruny arms? Don't eat too much, but make it at least average."
"Yeah, trust me, even that clothing doesn't work. Are you trying to ruin this school? We demand perfection. Strive for perfection. If that can't be in your plate, then screw off and move."
They each shoved him towards the wall. Zander grabbed his stuff and ran out. Before he could reach his class, he ran into a very bright elegant stunning woman. She wore the sparkly, most shiniest dress as her hair was dark red, but curled and long and gave off the luscious vibe.
She smiled.
"You must be Zander Robbins. The new kid right?"
"Yeah.."
"Aha, I'm Alyssa Reed. I see you already have the whole school messing with you. But not me. I'm here to help, I know you're new, so I'll give you the greatest tips on how to walk these halls."
"Is the school always like this?"
"Always. And forever. Let's start simple. Rules."
"Rules?"
"Yeah. Rampage High is pure perfection. And now that you're here. We own you."
Zander felt uneasy and looked around the walls that gave a vibe of evil.
He spoke softly to himself.
"Wow. Normal is dead."
