'Oh gosh.' Kali thought. She hated new neighbors. A boy emerged from the passenger seat and immediately locked eyes with Kali. He smiled and waved. Kali rolled her eyes, grabbed her juice and notebook and stormed inside. Today would NOT be the day she made friends.
