A Special Friend

As I recline in the meadow,

And close my brownish eyes,

I abruptly feel at harmony,

My venturesome soul decides to leave my tender body and go in the boundless night sky,

Away from all the hatred and judgment of this terrifying world,

It stays there for a while,

Providing me with a feeling like heaven itself has enveloped me inside its arms,

As time’s passing, it comes back,

Arousing me up,

I see the myriad stars,

They’re so far away and yet brimming with light,

Leaving me here perplexed and wondering about so many unanswerable questions,

As I get lost in them,

I wanna seek for the answers,

But they are wrapped in the perpetual darkness of the universe,

Far away from my benevolent mind,

That is the moment where I get to understand how life is assuredly

peculiar and enigmatic,

Somewhere on that strange road of life,

I met you,

Looking so impeccable and alluring,

You helped me get back on the path,

You showed me the way out of a leafy tunnel where I was lost,

All alone in the darkness,

Waiting for a savior,

Bathed in the colors,

Your light brightened me the way,

The person that I love the most,

The person that inspires me,

As I’m writing this poem,

With you,

I feel like I can go to the edge of this world,

And then past it,

You are the reason my loving heart no longer feels the way it used to,

You’ve reassembled all of its pieces into one,

You are the one that overflowed my heart with love...

As I eventually get up,

I smile,

And I am glad that from all of the people,

I’ve found someone special like you.
