Bestfriends (Jungkook x Reader)

“Y/N look who is coming our way!” My friend Kyra said while wriggling her eyebrows.

“Gosh stop it,” I said blushing slightly while slapping her playfully. I started to blush more seeing Taehyung coming our way. Taehyung was my crush at high school. We were pretty good friends and he was my classmate. He was so cute, nice and really funny. Right now we were having a break and Taehyung came walking our way.

“Y/N!” He screamed from afar once he saw me.

“Would you mind sharing your English textbook with me when class starts?” He asked and I shook my head smiling.

“Of course not. Why? Did you forgot your book again?” I asked and he nodded his head making me laugh.

“Thank you so much!” He said happily while smiling.

“No problem” I replied and he waved while going go to his friends.

“You should tell him that you like him,” my other friend Gera said and I instantly shook my head.

“Noo! I can’t do that. What if he doesn’t like me?”

“But this way you will never know,” she said but I still protested against her idea.

“Btw does Jungkook has a girlfriend right now? Cause I’m kinda interested” Kyra said while blushing a little.

“No way! Don’t be interested you know how he is. Jungkook doesn’t take relationships seriously. He always changes his girlfriend” I said and she nodded her head.

“I know but still. I don’t mind cause he is really hot” she said making me slap her.

“Go search for someone else then. Btw it would be so uncomfortable to have one of my best female friends date my male best friend” I said and she nodded her head understanding what I was saying.

“Seriously when we weren’t friends I really thought you guys were dating,” Gera said and Kyra agreed.

“I know a lot of people think that. We are just really close friends. But not like that. Jungkook isn’t interested in a serious relationship” I said. The school bell rang meaning break was over. We headed to our lockers to grab our books for the next lesson. I felt a flick against the back of my head making me groan of the pain. I turned around seeing Jungkook smiling.

“Morning,” he said smiling brightly. I slapped his head with my book hard making him groan harder.

“Morning,” I said smiling evilly.

“Come over after school. My mom said she has a late meeting so she cant make dinner” he said while twirling his finger around the end of my strands. It was a stupid habit of him. When he is bored he would our play on his phone or twist the end of my hair. He likes my hair because it’s long and soft. At least that’s what he said. When he does that it always reminds me of the time when we were still really young. He was so innocent back then.

“So you want me to cook dinner don’t you?” I asked while folding my arms. He let go of my hair and shoot me his bunny smile.

“Yup I would prefer to eat chigae. See you after school,” he said quickly while ruffling my hair and left.

“Gosh he is so cute when he is with you,” Kyra said practically fangirling.

“Come on we are going to be late,” I said and dragged her away with me.

I seated myself and saw Taehyung entering the classroom. When he saw me he smiled and waved. I waved back with a smile as he came walking towards me. He seated himself next to me and soon the teacher came in.

“Okay, guys grab your books and turn it to page 52 please,” Mrs. Seon said and everyone did as asked. I also did the same and shoved the textbook between me and Taehyung.

“Thanks” he whispered not wanting to interrupt the lesson.

“No problem” I whispered back making him smile. Aw, his smile was so cute that it practically made me melt. After the teacher explained some stuff it was time to work. Taehyung and I worked together cause he didn’t have his book.

“Gosh I hate English” he pouted while placing his pencil down.

“Too hard?” I asked and he nodded his head while resting his forehead on his desk. I laughed at the sight, he was so cute.

“Don’t worry you will learn. It’s not that hard” I said stroking his hair as comfort. I realized what I did and pulled my hand back. He suddenly grabbed my hand and placed it back on his head.

“I won’t learn it, its really hard” he continued nagging which was really cute. He looked like a little child. I continued stroking his hair cause I guess that’s what he wanted.

“If you want I will teach you,” I said and he instantly shot his head up making me startled because it was so sudden.

“Really?!” He asked and I nodded my head.

“Yeah, I think English is easy. So I have no problem helping you with it. If you want”

“I want. I want you to help me” he said happily.

“Okay, then I will,” I said smiling.

“Thank you!” He said happily making the teacher shush him cause he was talking too loud.

School ended and I was at my locker grabbing the stuff I needed. Jungkooks school day ended 2 lessons ago because he had a different schedule.

“Gosh I’m so happy this day is over,” Kyra said and I and Gera agreed. I felt someone ruffle my hair and blushed seeing it was Taehyung.

“Thanks for sharing your textbook. I will see you tomorrow” he said smiling and I nodded my head before he left.

“You should really tell him. You guys are so cute together” Kyra squealed.

“I think she is cuter with Jungkook though,” Gera said making me elbow her. We all laughed before heading off. Suddenly I got a text message. It was Jungkook.

J: Get some snacks for me on your way.😝

Y/N: ask your girlfriend

J: I’d rather ask my assistant

Y/N: This assistant is going to resign

J: You get 25% of the snacks

Y/N: 50%

J: Fine now hurry I’m hungry😣

Y/N: Yes sir

I laughed at our conversation. Our conversation was almost never serious. I headed to the supermarket getting some snacks for Jungkook as he asked. After I got what I needed I headed to Jungkooks house.

I rang the bell and Jungkooks mom opened.

“Y/N you’re here!” She said happy and let me in.

“Wa Mrs.Jeon you look stunning!” I said smiling. She was wearing a tight fitted dress and some simple earrings with some light makeup.

“Yeah, I got a fancy business meeting so I need to look at my best,” she said winking.

“Jungkook is in the kitchen pouting for food. I will see you guys tonight. Or I will see you maybe another time. We will see” she said smiling.

“Okay have a great evening,” I said hugging her.

“Thank you” she smiled and hugged me back. I waved at her seeing her leave and closed the door. I headed into the living room with the kitchen attached seeing Jungkook search to the fridge.

“What are you doing?” I asked and he immediately turned around hearing my voice.

“Y/N!” He screamed and came up to me. He hugged me tight making me slap him so he would let go.

“Did you bring snacks?” He asked with a big smile on his face. Boy, this guy was hungry. I showed him the bag and he immediately snatched it away from me.

“You promised to share!” I whined seeing him stuff his mouth with cheese balls, one of the snacks I got. Suddenly I got shot up by him putting one in my mouth.

“Thank you” I muttered before chewing on the delicious thing in my mouth.

“So... Haji is spreading a rumor at school that you guys are dating. Or is it true?” I asked smirking while placing my stuff down.

“True,” he said before stuffing another cheese ball in his mouth.

“I should have known. Why? You like her?” I asked while searching for the fridge for ingredients to make chigae for him.

“She is just interesting,” he said coming up to me and leaning against the kitchen counter.

“Jungkook don’t you think its best if you take relationships seriously? I know that you have been dating girls who also don’t take relationships so serious. But what if you find a girl who really falls for you? You might hurt her badly” I said worriedly. He flicked my forehead with a smile on his face.

“That won’t happen”

“You don’t know for sure,” I said.

“Can we not talk about that right now?” he said a little annoyed and grabbed the remaining ingredients.

“Okay, don’t be mad please,” I said tugging on his shirt. I really wasn’t in the mood for a mad Jungkook right now. This was after a long time that we were spending time like this again. Lately, he has been to busy with his girlfriends.

“I’m not mad,” he said turning around and smiling.

“Good,” I said happy and he hugged me tightly.

“Now go make me some food assistant cause I’m hungry”
