Reunited
“How’s it going?! Feels like it’s been ages since I’ve seen you!” He says as he walks in the room. I don’t remember inviting him over. I smile weakly and wave. “Well go on and turn it on so i can kick your ass again!” He gestured toward my PlayStation. I walk over and turn it on and grab my spare controller, that always stays on the charger and toss it over to him. He catches it and browses through my games. “Nothing good here... oh here it is!” He clicked on a basketball game. “You better not pick that overpowered team again!!” I sit down next to him and pick a pretty balanced team. I don’t even like this game.
The game starts and I start getting more and more into it. Trash talking in my head but still not saying anything out loud. Keeping a very worried face and he looks over at me as if he can hear my thoughts. “Hey man, you suck at this game!” I smirk and nod as I try to play cool. Wondering how he even got into my locked door. Did I give him the key? . No. I did not. I look over to the pill bottle on the counter and stand up.
The moment I stood up I could tell he was in my thoughts because he knew exactly where I was going. He began to scream in a blood curdling tone. “Nooo!” he runs over to the bottle and throws it on the floor, spilling my pills everywhere. I kneel on the floor trying to get one in my hand but he jumps on my back. As he goes to pull me over I pick one up and shove it in my mouth.
Instantly He vanishes.
