Misplaced Faith
I trust and trust and trust again.
You seemed to turn your back.
You turned to run away once more.
And never seem to lack.
I give you chance and chance again,
For something more to say.
But there is nothing in this world,
That you could ever say.
You lied and lied and lied again,
You tried to talk your talk.
But your lies got right back to me.
But do what you do, walk.
I guess I failed at love again,
I thought you were the one.
I trusted you I trusted you,
While you were with a different one.
You ignored and ignored again,
I had tried to warn you.
You had tried and tried to blame me,
Now you are alone too.
I wish you listened and listened,
I gave you many tries.
You had many chances to talk,
You kept bringing up lies.
We should have talked about it more,
We could of worked it out.
We tried and tried to start over,
The words never came out.
When you returned into my life,
Came with so much baggage.
Tried to figure out what was wrong,
You are such a savage.
Your trust is a Violation,
Of our relationship.
Feels so wrong when your here,
You put me on such a guilt trip.
Realizing that you were so wrong,
Put me in such a funk.
Way to make a person feel bad,
This time it really stunk.
Everytime you come around me,
I almost want to cry.
When reality just kicks in,
I realized it's time to not try.
Seeing that you are not the one,
Leave right now if you can.
If you ever come back to me,
I would rather walk, but I ran.
