Please let me know what ya'll think of this short story.

It was 10:30 at night and my parents told me to get ready for bed,so I did. I remember my mom tucking me in,kissing me on the forehead, telling me goodnight and turning my bedroom light off. As she closed the door I just layed there staring into the darkness of the room until I finally fell asleep. A few hours later I was awakened by a noise, not sure what it was, but I blew it off as one of my parents coming into my room to check on me. As I turned over to go back to sleep I noticed the werewolf mask was still sitting on top of a box on my pooltable that my dad left out. As I layed there staring at it. It started turning around very slowly. I threw the covers over my head very quickly and closed my eyes very tightly trying to figure out what I just saw and what just happened. As I get the courage up I slowly peek out from under the covers. As I do, I start to hear music playing very faintly. I could barely hear it, but it was there. As I looked back at the mask one last time expecting to see it moving I grabbed the covers again very tightly pulling them back over my head, but the mask was still, almost like it never did move and then all of a sudden everything was quiet. As I turn over and start to go back to sleep. I notice something moving in the floor out of my peripheral vision. As I turned my head to get a better look. I see what looks like a toy of a miniature carriage with horses running around in circles, but as I look closer the horse's that are running around are dead. You can see blood and bits of flesh hanging off of them. At this point I was starting to freak out. I went to yell for mom and dad, but I couldn't, nothing would come out. It was almost like something was stopping me from yelling. The more I tried to yell for mom and dad the more I felt something pressing on my chest really hard to the point I couldn't breath. As tears started to roll down my face everything stopped as if it never happened.

The next morning I told mom about it, but she told me that it must've been a dream and that there is no such thing as ghosts or demons. As I look at her and say, " I guess your right, I don't know what I was thinking." Mom just looked at and gave me a hug as she told me to go back and lay down. I went back to my bedroom and laid down. As I layed there staring at the ceiling I thought to myself if there is no such thing as ghosts and demons then why is my chest bruised and sore with a hand print and as I grabbed my covers and pulled them up. I see what I think is an image of something standing in the corner staring at me, watching, and waiting. As I blow it off thinking that it's only my imagination from being tired after being up half of the night. I ignore it and finally fall asleep only to never see daylight again.

Sabine : For this to be a Fantasy story; the plot is very interesting, and the need to be accepted, loved and mated is depicted as a universal need regardless of species. This is one of the few books that has been able to hold my interest, and I'm enjoying reading it.
