Prologue
“VERITY!!” The man yelled, it must have been the girl’s father, she ran into the room. She was about six she had full fear on her face,
“Yes, father?” He smirked at her,
“You, are a disgrace to me. You know that.” she nodded, and he continued, “Your mother is insane, you know that too?” she shook her head,
“You were hurting mommy. You made her.” The fathers face turned stone hard,
“I was NOT!”
“You WERE hurting her. You would yell at her, and hit her. You are CRAZY! Not mommy.” He walked up to her and slapped her across the face. She just looked at him, “Just like that. I will not let you hurt me. Just like you hurt mommy.” she ran out of the room, straight into a doctor,
“What are you doing Verity?” she looked up at him,
“Saving myself.”
