The Start Of Us
She had just caught her boyfriend of three years cheating on her with who she thought was her best friend. He just starred at her while her best friend smirked at her. She ran till she couldn't breathe, ran till she couldn't feel. When she realizes she is at a place she hasn't been to since he told her goodbye without looking back. She hears a door open and close and suddenly he is pulling her into his arms, she starts to cry until she can no longer cry. Once she stops crying he brings her inside, sits her down and she tells him what happened just 20 minutes ago. He is so angry he wants to find him and hurt him like he hurt her and then he looks over at her; the girl who he couldn't stop thinking about ever since he left, the girl he loves. All the anger going away and then she askes him the question he knows has been on her mind since she heard he was back in town.
"Why?" he hears the vulnerability in her voice and he doesn't know if he should tell her the truth or not.
"I was young and stupid to leave like that. I missed you everyday for the past year." he tells her since well it wasn't a total lie. He was young and stupid to leave the girl who has been there for him with just saying goodbye and not turning to look back.
"Why did you even come back?" She demands with such authority that he knows he can't lie about this.
"I came to see you and tell you something I should have told you a long time ago but we will get to that later. Lets get you home." He stands up putting his hand out. She nods her head and puts her hand into his, pulling herself up they go outside so he can take her home.
Once he pulls up to her house they both see Him standing there waiting for her on the front porch steps. He stops the bike and she gets off walking toward who she thought was the one for her.
They yell at each other until she can no longer hear his excuses and finally tells him, "It's over. I can't do this anymore, I am so done with listening to your excuses." He watches as she pushes past her ex to go into her house closing the door behind her leaving her ex and him alone.
He wants to hurt him but before he even gets the chance to she comes back outside now with a bag and a helmet he thought she would of gotten rid of a long time ago.
"You need to leave. I don't want to see you again." He nods defeatedly. She walks toward me puts the bag in the compartment and tells me to take her away from this place that has only caused her pain and heartbreak. I grab her helmet putting it on her head before grabbing my own and getting on my bike.
"Well then what are you waiting for princess." She climbs on and wraps her arms around my waist as the bike roars to life taking us away from this place leaving our past behind us.
"So where to princess." I ask her
"I don't know, take me anywhere. I need to feel alive again. Please help me feel alive again." she tells me putting her head on my back
"Oh I have just the place for us." I smirk at her knowing this year just got a little bit more interesting.
