Chapter 1: Arriving to oak wood
Leaving oak wood was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. But coming back was even harder, a few years ago I left oak wood because my secret almost got out. I was going to a normal middle school since I didn’t get my powers yet and I didn’t know I would get them. One day everyone’s thoughts started coming to me at once. I then realized what was happening. My parents told me that my whole family is supernatural, and it was best for me to leave oak wood for a bit so I can learn to control my powers. I left behind my best friend and that is what I’m worried about most, seeing Sophia and how she will react when she sees me again. Will she even recognize me, will I recognize her? Anyways it’s been 3 years and I’m back, ready to face whatever or whoever awaits.
