1: Beach
You think about what’s left behind you, what things did you cancel or didn’t even bother to cancel. As for now, you're currently shutting the door of your apartment with it’s shiny new lock and walking out, since outside is what you need the most right now.
Remembering what had happened yesterday, you close your eyes, sighing deeply as you glance at the ticket in your hands to the Big Beach.
-
“We are excited to let you know that you’ve won an already paid trip, to the Big Ocean Beach! Including the five star hotel, premium membership and our best tour guide! We know that you’ll have this news running on Facebook in a few seconds! Imagine if it blows up too much that all your friends on Facebook like and comment ‘Wow!’ on it and that’s exactly what you want!” You rolled you eyes. ‘I don’t even use Facebook.'
-
You press your cheek on the car’s window, glancing outside. “I am proud of you honey, Y/N. Like, I never had thought that you’d win this trip!” Your mom exclaims excitedly as she drives you to the airport. “Mom, It’s not like you and dad are coming along with me” You say.
“Haha, It’s alright, Y/N. You are strong! You will be fine without us!” You roll your eyes. “Dad, it’s not like this is my first time travelling alone anyways..” You sigh once again, totally already tired for the upcoming days.
Soon, you arrive at the airport and all of you get off. “Okay honey. Be strong.” Your mom says and you nod right away. “Show them who your dad is!” You smile, dragging your luggage as you pull it towards your feet. "Farewell, love you both, Mom, Dad." You let these words slip out of your mouth with your soft voice. You are a dumbass. Maybe hella extrovert. You're not used to talk a lot. Yeah, selective mutism. But even with your parents— "C'mon, Y/N. Smile atleast. Be your dad's little girl hm?" You smile an awkward smile. "Just wanted a goodluck." You mumble.
Your parents are going back to America.
You sigh as you walk inside of the Airport, followed by your luggage that you're currently dragging and your parents.
At this early hour the airport is as serene as it ever is. The people move with ease, quiet rivers of humanity freshly roused from their slumber. The floors are clean and white, reflecting the early rays and the man-made light the same.
The time of your parents flight. It's here and since it's before your own flight as well, you feel something in your throat. You hug them out of the blue, really tightly. They return the warm hug, staring at you with that one gaze; pleading you to be careful and strong. And ofcourse. To stay in contact. Yes, Mom and Dad.
You bid goodbyes as they get inside of the plane.
You sigh, standing there all alone. You decide to play some music on your phone. Travis Scott is a vibe these days and you're literally in love with his album ASTROWORLD, new or nah.
The airport looks more like a shopping mall than anything you can expect. The tiles under your feet are gleaming white and everywhere there are people milling, wandering around. There are two glass elevators leading to an upper floor which has the appearance of a food court. You seem to love that one.
And in the middle of several large open areas, there are a lot of black fabric covered seats. The air is cool; not that bad atleast. And only the faint aroma coming down from the food area gives it any scent.
Some stairs are leading up to a viewing deck where there is full of eager children watching the airplanes taking off and landing. There are mounted telescopes for them to look through and the back wall is one large window. Behind the telescope, stands a scale model of the airport with the runways marked on it.
Good old days. While you're admiring the beautiful International Airport, they announce the flight and apparently that is yours. You start walking towards your gate.
You’ve never had any social media.
You are not interested in having those. All that you need is a Phone for music, and lots of food to stuff your belly with. Maybe chicken wings.
You're currently following a large crowd towards the plane. In a tunnel. A tunnel for you. You step on in the plane as the air hostes approaches you and guides you through the plane, to your seat.
You sit down and wander around the airplane, tapping your feet on the floor.
From the window of the plane the wing engine is semi illuminated, the lower half shining around the rim, the upper half several shades darker. As the plane dips the line between shadow and light moves, and all the while you listen to the hum of the rotors. The plane is taking off. It's taking off.
You turn your phone off, sighing, you sit back after putting on the belt for your safety.
I'm Coming.
TBC.

"From the window of the plane the wing engine is semi illuminated, the lower half shining around the rim, the upper half several shades darker. As the plane dips the line between shadow and light moves, and all the while Ray listens to the hum of the rotors." This part is very interesting....
