Prologue

'He who is hideous by heart will be hideous by aspect until he finds his lost love and love finds him. The blood lust will drive him. He will be a beast unable to find rest until he is set free by his love.'

No one knows what would happen next. The very next moment, our future, holds the unknown questions of our life. The mysteries of our life.

No one knew she was there, watching their every move. That she manipulated them like a master puppeteer. She exists right before their eyes but still could not be seen. They do not see her, too caught up in their own realities to notice hers, but it was made for when both their world would clash.

Of course, no one knows about that. How would they? They were not supposed to know till the appropriate the time. She barely remembers what life was like being one of them. She was glad to have forgotten about it too. She had to, in order to make a proper design. To treat everyone equally.

She loved it when her world clashed with another, but hated it too. No one knew what she was. A being beyond most human mind. Just that she was there to destine people, to make all fulfill their deeds with their hardships. But had to keep herself unknown.

Human fear what is unknown to them. So they kept themselves sane by expelling the one who knows. Alas, she remembers the last victim like it was yesterday, attempting to understand what the others didn’t. Not knowing what he was getting himself into. But it had to be done. Her identity was to be kept unknown. So she could help the one she was supposed to. After all, she was a Goddess. Goddess of nature.

Now standing in front of the future of whole Quarantine. Watching her, the small baby who would grow up to save all.

She knew her ancestors, their bloodthirstiness, and their broken moral compasses. She would wait till the time was right. She would wait till the appropriate the time.

She would show her the way. Her way to follow and be who she is meant to be. After all, she was the Legend. The one to keep the beast in check, the one to mentain peace in the universe.
