Chapter 1

Rahul Saxena woke up at 6 30 in the morning. Not by the sound of alarm clock but by the natural stress system that pumped the blood in his body. He got up from the bed and went straight to the washroom. Inside, there stood a man sized mirror that reflected him from top to bottom and then some. He glared at his own reflection. Washed his face throwing water as hard as he could as if he needed to harm himself in some manner, Wanted to.

He stared straight into the eyes of the reflection and uttered,” I will be the best businessman In the world... a great one... an arrogant one... so great and arrogant that it will be impossible to catch me.”

Rahul Saxena had followed this bizarre routine from the last ten years. He would get up, glare at his reflection and then repeat the dictum. But today something strange happened. Suddenly the man in the reflection appeared to have been struck by a thought that left him… numb.

This numbness was followed by calm. A tranquility so immense that he barely had any control on his body. He collapsed, fell on his knees and started to cry. A cathartic flow of emotions that made him wonder about his own strength. It took him two attempts to finally get up from the floor of his oculus bathroom and stand.

The mirror showed a smile that reached his eyes. A smile that appeared to have come on his face after ten years. He could not believe that he had done it- it was 23 July 2018.
