Chapter One
The train stops suddenly, and I have to hold myself on the seat in front of me to avoid falling on the other people. The train is crowded like crazy. An older man runs into me. I push him away kindly and take my backpack. I had squizzed it between my legs on the floor to not get anything stolen. I knew here, things worked differently. It is like a parallel world. The doors open slowly, and I rush to go out first. I hurry up to get out of the station quickly, but I'm not the only one who has this plan. Within a few seconds, the station is crowded, and people push each other everywhere. I sigh and go on the side. If it's impossible to be the first one to get out, then better be the last one. I close my eyes and start dreaming. I listen closely to the people moving and talking. I wait until the sound gets lower to open my eyes again. I'm almost alone, only a few people are still there. Probably doing the same as me. I take my courage and walk to the exit. The woman of the security looks at me strangely. That's because I look very young, I suppose.
《Allowance of entry, please》she aks. I put my bag on the table and take out of it a paper. It's written in big letter: Allowance of Entry of Charlie Stephan. I give it to her. She looks briefly at it, and then nods. 《New name ?》she asks next. I take my time to answer. I can already tell she's not gonna like it. But it's my choice. 《Stephano Charles, please》 I say. The woman doesn't move, but makes a strange noise. She looks up at me, and then grins. 《Smart kid》she whispers. I smile back at her. She enters some data in her computer for a few minutes. I stay there and wait. After a while, she gives me a small bag with secret information in it. 《Only open it when you're at home》she warns. I nod carefully and put the bag into my backpack. It's the information everyone wants to have. It's the reason people hurried up to get out of the train. I look briefly at the woman, and with a sign of the head she shows me the direction I have to take. I am polite and thank her even if she doesn't care, and then I leave the train station. I'm not as stressed as I thought I'd be, I'm more curious. I can't believe I reached Alicia.
