Chapter 1
Four words. If someone would've asked me if four words could completely destroy my world just 365 days ago, I would've told them to fuck off and stop being ridiculous. How wrong I was.
I bit back tears, refusing to show my utter devastation and sheer horror as those four heart-wrenchingly awful words registered in my numb, shocked mind. From anyone else, those words might've come as a good thing, or even a joke, but from him, they were a nightmare turned reality. Those four words were the very thing that woke me up screaming at night. They were the four words that destroyed my higher reasoning, my common sense, and my will to live. They were the four words that would change my life drastically.
