"So what interests you?" He says while taking a sip from his champagne glass.
"I don't really find things interesting. I'm quite a boring girl" I say while staring out the window, not really paying attention to what he's saying.
Blind dates are boring as hell, and the pure fact my mother planned the whole thing and then put me in this, old, super conservative dress. It doesn't really help when it comes to giving a good impression. Especially when you don't feel confident in what you're wearing.
"If you'll excuses me, not to be rude but you seem a little out of it. So I'll pay for this meal then I'll leave" he says while standing up waiting for my response.
"Mhmm ok bye" I say while standing up, chucking my coat over my shoulders and walking towards the exit.
"Ya you ungrateful bitch! At least say thank you!" I hear him shout as I put my arm up signalling that I didn't really care.
I get into car and tell the driver to head to mine, not my family home. I'm pretty sure they will find out soon that the blind date didn't go how they wanted.
I reach into my clutch and see all of the miss calls from my mother. Which I ignored and clicked on my best friends name and called him.
"Yaaaa Mya! How's my best friend doing?" I flinch by how loud it was.
"Ya Seokmin, where are you? Why's it so loud?"
"You can never awnser my questions first, I'm waiting to get my hair and makeup done. I'll quickly go outside so you can hear me better."
"oh! You want to see what I'm wearing, I bet you, when I send this photo you'll finally fall for me" we both start laughing till I look at my phone and see that he did send me a photo.
"You really sent me a photo!" I say while clicking his message and seeing the photo he sent me. He was on set wearing a grey hoodie with a black coat on top.
"Just for your imagination, I'm not wearing a shirt underneath!"
"Yaaaa! Thats a nice hoodie and jacket! Where'd you get it from" I say while ignoring what he said.
"You falling for me yet?" He says while whispering into the phone.
"No! You know you're like a brother to me!" I say while mentally slapping him.
"I'm forever friend zoned. I'm joking I know! you're like an annoying sister! Oh speaking of which, how'd the blind date go?"
"Don't even ask, I'm so over these blind dates, my parents just don't understand I'm not interested in them." I huff as I hold a part of the dress in my hand.
"And my mum put me in a old, super conservative dress, which makes me look like a box! It doesnt hug my curves at all!"
"Ah that sucks, but I have some good news for you, one of my close friends, and no you don't know them, saw a picture of you on my phone and wants to go on a date with you. What do you think?"
"A friend of yours? Do I really trust you to set me up with someone?"
"Ya! He's a nice guy" he says while trying to convince me.
"You know nice guys bore me, but, seeing as blind dates seem to be a big thing in my life right now, i might as well, okay, ill give it a go" I say while rolling my eyes and looking at my nails.
"Ok so it's settled, I'll text you the details! I got to go and get ready. Byeeeeee"
I put my phone back into my clutch and start to imagine what my date would look like. Seeing as he's one of Seokmins friends, he should be really good looking and he should at least keep me entertained like Seokmin does.
While lost in my thoughts we reach my house and the driver opens the door for me.
"Thank you" I say while making my way to the front door.
I open the door to an empty house.
"Ah home sweet home" I say as I throw my coat on the sofa and take my shoes off.
"Ah slippers, whoever invented these, they knew what comfort meant!" I say as I put my slippers on and head upstairs.
I get undressed and get into the shower. Long showers are one of the few things that relax me. It relaxes me so much that I can stay in the shower for at least an hour or more.
After the shower, I change into my pyjamas and lay on my bed.
"Another blind date. But maybe this one will go better then the others."
