Rewrite the stars

JIMIN WILL NEVER FORGET about the first time he truly fell in love.

That kind of love that leaves you breathless, that makes you feel suffocated when she's not there, and makes you feel complete when she smiles.

Jimin will never forget the first time she walked through that door.

Her brown eyes wandering that familiar place and all of her friends while he was standing a few meters away from her, admiring her beauty.

It might sound like a cliché, but she was surely different from anyone else he had seen before; she was stunning. She was glowing.

Nothing could ever stop him from falling for that goddess.

Except for the fact that she was his girlfriend's sister.

Her name was Kim In Ha, 23 years old. Just like him.

She spent a whole year in America and she was back for her last year of university.

He couldn't help but admire her from afar, while everyone who knew the young woman joyfully greeted her.

"Who is she?" the blonde haired asked Yoongi, as his gaze never left her frame once.

"That's Kim In Ha" the eldest replied.

"Taehyung always talks about his Noona but, if I'm being honest, I had never seen her before. She spent a year in America to improve her English. I think it was some sort of project for her university"

Jimin carefully listened, nodding. He realized he wanted to know more about that beautiful stranger.

"So that's In Na's twin"

Kim In Na was her sister, alongside Park Jimin's girlfriend, but they still looked incredibly different.

"That's correct" Min Yoongi confirmed.

The mistery girl reluctantly allowed her brother to help her with the luggage and the rest of her stuff, as she enthusiastically made her way to the guests.

The group of people clumped together to welcome back the girl, as the latter brightly smiled with excitement.

Her brother was the first of them all, then her beloved sister, Jung Hoseok, Kim Seokjin, Kim Namjoon and some other girl named Choi Ji Hyun.

Jimin guessed they were her closest friends.

She politely shook Min Yoongi's hand and introduced herself right after a respectful bow.

When she did the exact same thing with Jimin, the latter could swear his heartbeat started to accelerate in the fraction of a second, while he hoped she hadn't noticed his hands shaking.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Park Jimin". He was too petrified to smile properly.

"Wait a second". She pointed her finger at him before covering her mouth with a hand. Her surprised expression left the young man breathless.

"Aren't you In Na's boyfriend?" she asked, as a grin made its way to her perfectly peaceful visage.

"He is". Her twin sister proudly stepped in as she wrapped her arms around her boyfriend's waist.

At that very moment, Park Jimin couldn't help but feel incredibly bad, as he almost forgot about her presence.

But how could he think about anything else when his attention was fully directed towards that beautiful human being?

"Well, what can I say? Welcome to our family".

And she smiled again.

As soon as her lips curled into a grin, Jimin's gaze automatically shifted to her lips.

When the young man entered the Kims house that evening, such a life changing meeting was the last thing he had expected but - somehow - that girl really had that something, which managed to mess up his thoughts in a completely different way, making him so confused, yet glad he was there.

𝟏 𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑

"So I said these exact words: 'There's no way I'm coming with you in your Jacuzzi, you pervert'". Everyone burst into laughing.

Kim In Ha was sharing some stories about her several experiences during her stay in America.

"I swear, some of those Americans were such weirdos"

"So you're telling me you've never 'had some fun' with anyone for a whole year?". In Na looked particularly interested as she rested her chin on her closed fist.

"I've never said that" her sister promptly answered back, right before she took another sip of her red wine.

It would definitely be a lie if I said no one looked surprised, right after her sudden statement.

A bunch of curious eyes scanned her expression, almost trying to read her emotionless look.

"I missed you so much, sis". Kim In Na hugged her twin, while the latter emitted a small chuckle.

"Can we change the subject? I don't want to hear about my sister's 'American one night stands'". Taehyung uncomfortableness was palpable, and his statement was quickly followed by a choir of laughter.

"Kim Taehyung, you're 23 years old. You seriously cannot feel uncomfortable whenever we talk about sex" In Na almost scolded the youngest of the three.

"I'd understand if you still were on the cusp of freaking manhood, but you're a grown ass man. It's totally normal and your sisters do have sex, you know?"

"Could you please shut the fuck up, In Na?"

The whole room witnessed that hilarious scene as if it was some sort of sitcom - giggling every now and then.

Everyone except for the poor, innocent boy who managed to cover his ears like a kid; but Kim Taehyung wasn't the only one who did not seem to enjoy that debating.

However hard he was trying to puzzle over it, Park Jimin still had no idea why the thought of that woman with some other man irritated him more than it should have.

The sudden sensation of eyes piercing him forced the blonde haired into raising his head.

And there she was, staring at him with the most surreal smile printed on her calm face.

'So beautiful' he thought.

𝟐 𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒 𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑

"You guys should stay for dinner. We have a lot to catch up on" In Ha said, carefully putting the glasses in the sink.

"I wish we could, but we have an important dinner with some colleagues" Namjoon replied, brushing his palm against her shoulder before glancing at the youngest of the group.

"Tae, are you coming with us?"

"Sure". Taehyung rapidly grabbed his jacket and went towards his friends, while the majority of them already reached the front door.

Hoseok waved a hand, as his right arm was placed around his girlfriend's waist.

The latter emulated his action while resting her head on the man's shoulder.

Yoongi, Namjoon and Jin said goodbye to both of the twins. The first one gave Jimin a pat on the back, then reached the rest of the group which - progressively - left the building.

At that point, In Na, In Ha and the only man left were finally alone. What a trio.

And the irony.

"So, who wants pizza?" In Na enthusiastically announced.

"Count me in" her sister responded, raising both of her hands in the air.

Jimin nodded in silence, even though he wasn't that sure he wanted to be alone with his girlfriend and that beautiful enigmatic girl.

But how could he reject?

"I'll make the call". In Na dragged her feet towards the door, rapidly turning around the second after.

"Jiminie, could you please help In Ha with those glasses?"

The young man's dark orbs widened, but he mumbled a 'sure' as his girlfriend reached the living room, typing the number on her phone.

"Don't worry, Jimin. I can do it"

"It's fine. You can wash them and I'll have them dried" the young man reassured her.

For the first time, their eyes finally met while their faces were just a few centimeters away from each other's.

Kim In Ha bit her lower lip, letting out a cute chuckle.

"Fine"

At first, the silence was deafeningly disturbing; but it was also true that the dark haired girl was that kind of person who could easily break the ice whenever it was needed.

"How long have you been with my sister?" was her question, which came out of the blue.

"I've never seen you before"

"Six months"

She slowly nodded. "You're a lucky man, 'Jiminie'" she said; her voice was exaggeratedly high-pitched, while she imitated her sister.

The both of them laughed at that impression, still intent in the chores.

"But seriously, she's great. She's loyal and sweet" the girl continued.

"I can assure you In Na will never let you down"

Jimin pressed his upper lip against the lower one, acknowledging how much she cared about her twin. Theirs was a very special bond.

"I know"

That was the exact moment when their faces got so close that Jimin's eyes shifted once again to her red lips, as the proximity increased.

He didn't even try to hide it.

Their noses were almost touching while the two of them couldn't stop staring at each other.

They both had very plump and nice lips, and the young man found himself wondering what it'd be like feeling hers pressed against his.

Jimin and In Ha's eyes were closed, the tips of their noses almost touched and their mouths desperately wanted to taste the other.

Until something else abruptly interrupted them.

"They said half an hour, but I think the delivery man has a crush on me because he said he'll be here in ten minutes"

It was In Na.

Jimin and In Ha were fast enough to pull away before she could see them, as they looked at the opposite side in perfect sync.

On the other hand, Kim In Na did not notice that the tension in the room was incredibly high.

So true is it that when she left the kitchen for the second time, they looked at each other with eyes widened.

What just happened?
