Jenny knocked on Mrs.Bakers door. “Oh, well hello Jenny, Adam should be down in a minute.”

“Thanks, Mrs.Baker.” Jenny said. “Adam get down here it’s time for school!” Shouted Mrs Baker.

Adam rushed down the stairs putting his shoes on, while he was at it. “I’m coming, I’m coming.” He groaned. He ran into the kitchen and picked up a slice of toast and ran out of the door. “Bye,Mom come on Jen!” He shouted. Jenny ran after Adam and gave a quick wave to Mrs.Baker.

“That kid better hurry his ass up and leave for college already.”muttered Mrs Baker.

Jenny and Adam were surprisingly extremely early. No one was there yet.“Hey, Assholes.” Yelled some kid behind them. It was Andrew Jones. “Not this crap again.” Said Adam rolling his eyes. “Oh hey, Jenny how’s your mom?”Jenny stared at the floor. “At least my mom didn’t work at a strip club.” Muttered Jenny. And

rew caught her. “What did you say to me, Parkes?” He said as he shoved her to the ground.Adam watched in horror as she fell on a rock and blood started gushing from her head. Andrew smirked as Jenny started crying. “What are gonna do? Tell your Mommy?”

That was it for Adam. He punched Andrew directly in the right eye, and continued to pin him down to the ground. “Maybe if you weren’t such a nerd you wouldn’t constantly hang around with girls.” Andrew hissed.

“Well maybe if you didn’t have your head up your ass so much you might not be held back this year again.” Said Adam punching Andrew so hard he passed out. Jenny looked in horror as blood covered the area they were in. “We’re getting in some trouble.” Jenny exclaimed. “Mr. Quinn hides the keys under the bush by the door, if we get them we can go to the janitors closet and clean up the blood. “But what about Andrew?” Jenny asked. I’ll get some stuff from the nurse’s room. He won’t remember a thing, I gave him a right old beating. Jenny smiled. “Is your head okay?” asked Adam. “Yeah,just a cut I guess.” She replied.

They smiled at eachother. “I’ll stay with Andrew and you get the supplies.” Said Adam. “Okay, that’s grand.” Said Jenny.

Jenny unlocked the door, and went inside. “See you later.” Said Adam. “Yeah, see you later.” Said Jenny. Jenny went into the Janitor’s room and grabbed the mop.She started walking down the hallway. She heard a noise. She slowly shifted towards the corner the noise came from.She turned around the corner and shrieked. She had banged into Andrew. “What Andrew? Wait, what? What are you doing here? Where’s Adam?” Said Jenny in complete confusion.

“Umm..Adam said to come in and go to the nurse’s room and get some bandages for myself after I fell out of the tree, remember?” Said Andrew. “Oh,Oh yeah!” Said Jenny playing along. “Uhh..it’s right this way!” The two walked to the nurse’s office. “Do you know where Adam is?” “He’s trying to clean up the blood.” Said Andrew.

Jenny grabbed the bandages. “Okay go. Quick. Before the teachers start arriving.” Jenny commanded. Andrew did what he was told and limped towards the door. “What were you doing in school so early?” Asked Jenny. “Oh uh, my dad drops me off early so he can go to..work.” Said Andrew. “What about you two?” He asked. “Oh we were just early,I guess.” The two exited and Jenny but the keys back. “Hey,where’s Adam?” Said Jenny. “I don’t know, he was here a minute ago.”

“He’s probably gone to get some wipes out of his bag.” Jenny shrugged. Jenny used the mop to clean up the blood and put the threw the mop in the trash as it was destroyed. Students and teachers started arriving and soon the bell rang.

There was still no sign of Adam. Jenny began to get worried but assumed he’d already headed to class.

Adam didn’t show up at lunch. Or home time. Jenny walked home alone and knocked on Mrs.Bakers door. “Hey sorry to bother you, but have you seen Adam?” Asked Jenny. “No he hasn’t came home yet.” Said Mrs Baker. “Oh okay, thanks,bye.” Said Jenny. “Bye, Jenny.” Said Mrs Baker. Jenny went opened her door. Dad wasn’t home yet. Jenny ordered Chinese food and began on her homework. She was distracted. When she was finished it was 11pm. She headed to bed and stayed up thinking about Adam. She finally drifted off not knowing the events the next day would hold.
