To say Taehyung was nervous was an understatement. He had spent at least 20 minutes buttoning his shirt over and over because he kept messing it up. In his defense, who knew buttons would be so difficult when your hands were sweaty and you were shaking? He sighed, finally finishing as he ran a hand through his hair.
"Fuck, what's taking you so long? You've been standing in front of that goddamn mirror for half an hour! We have to go, Tae!" His childhood best friend since the womb, Jungkook, sighed in annoyance as he entered the older's room.
"Sorry, sorry. I'm just nervous, okay?" He shakily breathed out, grabbing his backpack. Notebooks? Check. Binder? Check. Pencils? Check. Sense of what the fuck he was doing? Well...He'd have to do a rain check on that one.
"Yah! Let's go, dumbass. We don't have all day, and if we're late on the first day, we'll get our asses kicked. Got it?" Jungkook slaps the elder over the head with his water bottle. Taehyung smacks him back and flips him off, but soon enough they walk out the door and make their way to the school building.
~~
Taehyung walked into the school like he owned the place. He basically did, seeing as every girl (and a few guys) swooned over him and rushed to talk to him like fangirls. Jungkook was swarmed as well, getting stopped after only taking a couple steps inside the building. Taehyung smirked at him and kept on walking, sending the younger into a yelling fit as he calls after his best friend. He chuckles as he walks away to his new locker.
Putting his stuff away, he notices a man walking into a classroom. He sees that he has red hair, and wonders how the school allowed a teacher to do that. He gives it no other thought as he slams his locker shut and walks off to find his lady-killer friend, who has somehow managed to finally make it to their shared first period class.
"Really? We have literature first period? Great. How perfect. Oh, and also, I saw a teacher with neon red hair. How the fuck did he even get approved to teach with that hair? It's probably distracting." Jungkook elbows him and chuckles softly. They both take their seats and meet the teachers, Taehyung whining and complaining most of the time.
It went this way for nine other periods, besides lunch, where both boys sat with their five other friends and made jokes and threw food at eachother.
But all of the whining stopped when Taehyung entered 10th period; The last period of the day. It was Algebra. His most hated subject in the world, even though he was actually pretty good at it.
The boys both took their seats at the highest desks you could possibly get in the rows of dark wooden desks that had carpeted stairs leading up to them.
Sitting the highest they could, Taehyung felt like he was on top of the world. He could've cared less about the all-female teachers he had met today, so he wasn't bothered to meet this one.
But then he walked in. Yes, a he. Not a she. Taehyung's jaw dropped. It was the red haired teacher from before, and he was hot. Fucking gorgeously hot.
He elbowed the younger, pulling at his arm.
"What, hyung, what?" He groaned, annoyed by Tae's apparent excitement.
"It's him! The teacher I saw before! Look at him, Kook! He's fucking hot!" He shook him excitedly. The man glared in the two students' directions, and Tae bit his lip.
"Glare at me like that again and I'll suck your-" Jungkook slapped his leg under the desk.
"What? He's hot! And he's GLARING at me." He defends. Jungkook shakes his head. God, an annoyingly loud teenager who just so happens to be gay really IS a handful. But that's just how friendship works.
