Chapter 1

Alexia’s POV

My name is Alexia and I just got done with college. I decided to become a teacher. I know most people do not want to go through school then go back to school just so they can go work in a school. Well I decided that I wanted to help kids learn; by teaching a subject that most hate and making it fun and exciting.

I just recently got a job at a high school teaching full time. It’s a senior class course and I can’t wait to get started, its now Saturday night and school starts on Monday. I’m going to go out tonight just to relax before it starts. I called a few friends and asked if they would like to go to the bar, they said yes, so now I’m headed out.

Here it is 7:30 and I’m headed down to meet my friends at the bar. I walk in and head to the bar to order a drink and wait for them to get there. It’s about 5 till 8 and that’s when we decided to be there. While I’m having my drink I spot a group of guys hanging out by the pool tables, so I decide to go over and see if any of them want to teach me to play pool. I know how to play but just trying to see if any of them want to have fun.

As I approach one of them notices me and immediately starts walking towards me. Boy, oh, boy is he a sexy piece of man candy! Tall, with broad shoulders and muscles that could go on for days. He has shaggy dirty blonde hair and bright blue eyes, his lips are so full and luscious I just want to fall right into them and never get up. He’s wearing a pair of dark wash jeans hanging low off his hips, a baby blue t-shirt and a black leather jacket over the top of it. Mmm...mmm...mmm.

“Hey, what’s a pretty thing like you doing by yourself?” He asks in a deep sexy voice that sends shivers down my spine.

“Oh just waiting on some friends to get here. I was hoping one of you boys would want to teach me how to play pool.” I say in my most seductive voice.

“Hmm...I might be able to help you out with that. That is if you want me?” He asks with a real cocky smirk.

“Ok, I’ll take you up on your offer.”

“Great. Hey guys we’re going to help this pretty lady learn to play pool.” He turns to his friends and tells them. “What’s your name?” he asks me.

“Alexia, you?” I smile at him.

“Blake.” He gives me a sexy smile.

So Blake starts to show me how to rack up, and we play against one of his friends named Zane. Blake leans over me and lines up the shot for a break. I can barely breathe because he’s making me so nervous. I draw back the pool stick and throw it forward as hard as I can and the balls go everywhere. I get a striped one in the corner pocket and the rest are spread out pretty equally across the table.

“Very nice!” Blake exclaims, giving me a high five.

“Thanks.” I play coy back.

He tells me where to line up the next shot and I make it in as well.

“Are you sure you don’t already know how to play?” he asks me questioningly, with his eyebrow quirked up on the left side.

“Maybe I’ve played once or twice before.” I giggle and wink at him.

“Oh so you tricked me into helping you, I see.”

“Well it was a great conversation starter wasn’t it?” I ask, I notice my friends walking through the door out of the corner of my eye. “Well looks like my friends finally got here. Thanks for the lessons.”

“Hey why don’t you and your friends join us?” He asks, grabbing my hand as I’m turning to leave.

“Well I’ll ask and see how they feel about that.”

I walk over to see Ashley, Maddie and Matt by the bar getting something to drink, I don’t notice that Blake has followed me over.

Ashley turns and jumps on me screaming in my ear, “Hey sexy, what have you been up to? Oh, hello who is this yummy thang with you?”

I turn around and give Blake a quirk of the brow, “Umm, this is Blake and he was teaching me to play pool. He also invited us to hang with him and his group.”

“Alexia you devil, you already know how to play pool!” Maddie exclaims laughing.

“Yeah, I figured that out already.” Blake smirks.

“Well are we going to stand here by the bar all night or have some fun playing pool and drinking?” I ask to change the subject.

“Alright, I would love to have some guys to hang out with tonight! I’m always stuck with you girls and gossip!” Matt adds in while walking towards the pool tables.

“Great!” says Blake sliding his arm over my shoulders. I look up at him and just want to grab his hair and drag him in for a kiss.
