Chapter 1
My room was quiet and dark. the only thing i could really see in the room
was name printed on the wall “Emily smith” I whispered to myself. I needed
a midnight snack so i headed for the kitchen when i spotted a note on the fridge
that said ” Emily we had to go somewhere safe love mom and dad”. I had no idea
what “go somewhere safe” meant so i just called them. “hey mom where are u going”
she sound like she was crying so i asked what was wrong. “honey there was someone in the house” she said crying
“what! mom are they still here” I yelled. ” NO NO but were just going to the police” she said
" love you bye” i said.
I wanted to cry. I sat there in the kitchen stunned a person broke in just when i was about to pick up the phone to call the cops
when banging came from the backyard. I started to panic so I ran to my room and locked the door stupidly and hid under my covers
suddenly the person started to bang on my door then a big crash came about five seconds after the person walked in my head hurt I remembered I man picking me up and
moving me to somewhere there a drove away somewhere i woke up in a room with
a bookshelf and i lantern my phone was gone and i realized i was kidnapped. the room was silent nothing was going on except when someone screamed. Then I heard
a loud thump,then footsteps next to the door then everything when black again. I woke up in my room again with light shining in my eyes i walked
to the kitchen there stood mom. “hi” she said “how did you sleep” she asked. ” good” i said
I realized it was all a dream.
