Chapter-1
"It has been fifteen minutes since she moved, should we call the nurse?" Mark questions, as he picks up the thermometer from the side table and examines it
"She is fine" Alison answers, crossing her arms across her chest.
"Let us wake her up" Kyle chimes in.
"No! Let her sleep" Alison says, and stands in front of Isabelle's bed, in an attempt to protect her.
Isabelle has been quietly listening to her friends for the past fifteen minutes. She didn't want to open her eyes and acknowledge the situation.
She is too embarrassed by the situation.
"I am too bored" Kyle sighs.
"Then leave" Alison shrugs, "I will take her home"
"We want to meet her before we leave" Mark huffs.
"I am awake" Isabelle sighs and finally opens her eyes. She couldn't tolerate their argument anymore.
They are all currently in the nurses office. Isabelle is resting on one of the three beds. Riley, is napping on the bed next to hers. Alison is standing in front of the bed, while Dan, Mark and Kyle are sitting on the chairs next to the bed.
"Finally" Mark mutters.
Isabelle slowly sits up, her back is still hurting, due to the fall she had earlier
"Care to explain what you did?" Alison instantly fires.
Isabelle sighs. Even though she did not wish to narrate the incident, she knew she would have to.
"You said you had it under control!" Alison continues to scold her.
"I am sorry, okay?" Isabelle groans, "He kept calling me snail face! I just could't take it anymore!"
"So you hit him?" Alison laughs, mockingly.
"It wasn't my best moment, I agree, but he got to me!" she defends.
"Okay sorry to stop you both" Kyle interrupts, "But if you could just tell us what happened, we will be on our way, and you two can continue"
All eyes turn to Isabelle. Even Riley opens his eyes and sits up on the bed.
Isabelle takes a deep breathe, she knew avoiding the conversation would be of no use right now, so she begins.
"After we trashed their gym in the recess and went our separate ways to attend lectures, Alison and I ran into Jeon Jungkook in the hallway, he looked pretty mad so I told Alison I had it under control and so she left for class"
"We said a few things to each other, but he kept calling me snail face, so I tried to punch him, he blocked it, and then one thing led to another and before I knew it, I was falling on the floor with that lump on top of me"
Isabelle feels rage spreading though her, as she relives the memory.
"I fell straight on my back and I guess I hit my head?" She questions, unsure, "Any way Mrs Staples showed up and she made us listen to a earful, she gave us detention for two weeks and plus told us to clean the gym"
She sighs again, remembering her punishment.
"After Staples left I started to feel dizzy and decided to come here but I passed out before I reached"
"You don't have to clean the gym anymore" Kyle tries to cheer her up.
But Isabelle's happiness only lasts a few seconds before Alison tells her,
"You have to attend one extra week of detention instead".
"What ? That is not fair!" She cries.
"That is not even the worst part" Dan laughs
"What is worst than that?" Isabelle questions
"You have to attend detention with your arch enemy Jeon Jungkook" He informs, "alone" he adds, making her heart drop.
