The train ride
Hermione's pov
I stepped on the train hoping to go find Harry, Ron and Ginny. I was thinking about what had happened this last year wondering how many students would return. I felt a bang and was toppled backwards, I looked up to see a rather tall looking Draco Malfoy.
"Watch were your going Granger," he said to me with a smirk on his face. I watched as Harry rounded the corner and immediately his smile fell.
"Piss of Malfoy" he yelled
"Well if she didn't walk into me I would be fine" he replied calmly
"Come on Harry let's just go," I said trying to get away from the advancing Slytherins. We walked along the train trying to find Ron and Ginny, but the only thing going through my mind was how Malfoy didn't call me a mudblood.
Draco' s pov
I was walking down the train to find an empty compartment when I felt a soft but hard bang hit my chest, I looked down and saw Granger almost falling over, I wanted to grab her and make sure she's safe but suddenly I came back to the reality that it was Granger, the annoying and snobby teachers pet.
"Watch where you're going Granger" I replied but the Potter came around the corner
"Piss off Malfoy" he yelled at me, I felt like laughing because that didn't make the tiniest effect on me
"Well if she didn't walk into me I would be fine," I said as calmly as possible. Granger obviously didn't want to get into a fight so she and Potter walked off. Luckily a couple of Slytherins Blaise Zabini, my best friend, Theo Nott and Pansy Parkinson came up to me.
