Chapter 1
"So now we are, in maths. Going to be learning about fractions anybody know some key facts about them?" Alissa was sitting on her desk her head in a hand and her pencil sliding though her fingers. At the moment at school they were revising for there end of year tests. Of course she knew what the key points of fractions where. Alissa was one of those people whom know the answers all the time but would never put her hand up to answer the questions. " Anyone?" Her teacher bore out.
Ring!!!! That was the school bell Alissa stood up and took her bag off from the back of her chair, and stood behind it politely, that was what you had to do at Kirk manor school, until you where dismissed. Alissa was so used to standing up tucking her chair in and rushing off to the cloak room to grab her snacks and then running out into the grounds, back then they were Teenies and now they are big forth formers they must not even think about such a thing. " girls you are now all dismissed" Miss Clark said and then went back to her desk tidying (Miss Clarks desk was so untidy you wouldn't of been able to even see a snake under all the paperwork ) when Alissa was just leaving the classroom she heard Marie going past saying under her breath " must remember to tell Maisie to help me in prep in fact she can't help me you can't talk in prep oh no oh no," Alissa tried to remember what she was going to do when Marie cam back this way and knocked into her.
"Sorr-ry," Marie spluttered
" oh it's fine you don't need to worry, oh and Maisie'S last lesson was art so she will be at east gate grounds,"
"Oh thanks Alissa,"Marie trotted away to east gate Allisa watched her until she was round the corner out of sight. Hmm what was it? Alissa thought then she remembered Melissa! She was meant to meet her as soon as break bell went at the east grounds.She hurried away to go find Melissa.
"Hi," Alissa panted " how are you,"
" good, " the notebook in Melissa's hand suddenly got put in her bag when her face turned back to Alissa it was a glance of worry then the jolly happy face that Alissa had known all her life. "Er what was that? " Alissa asked "What ohh that nothing," that worried and scared look came back to her face and disappeared almost instantly again " Are you sure?" Alissa asked again.
" yes certain!" Melissa replied
