Prologue

Have you ever wanted something really bad, that the thought of it drove you insane? The desire to keep them all to yourself, running your fingers all over the one you so desire. Engraving every single detail of the one you love into your brain.

Overwriting all the spots that other people has touch them. Burning the sensation of your touch into their conscious so they won’t forget. Make them remember you to the point that you’re the only thing on their mind.

Having your lip grave across their body, as your tongue sweep across every part of their body, savoring all of their taste. Making them call your name breathlessly as you embrace each other until the very end.

Hearing every gasp, moan, and every little sound they make. All of it to yourself. The desire your body aches to feel theirs against yours. Wanting to fuse together and become one.

Wanting to reach out to that person. Waiting, praying, hoping, pleading that they will love you back. Love. The word itself is so intoxicating, we yearn for for it, crave it. Like a addictive drug. The feeling is so good, but the afterwards are terrifying. It feel so suffocating, every little moment with them.

You just want to let it all out. But you can’t. You can’t cross that line you drew. Mending a broken heart is so difficult. Love hurts, and yet we still chase after it. It’s scary to think about what could happen.

Millions of thoughts racing in your head. Not wanting to cross that sarced line. Fear it will be bad. Horrible. Dreadful. The limits when it comes to love. They feel so close, but yet so far. You feel like once you catch up, they have gotten further.

It always ends up badly. It can ruin everything. The relationship you once had destroyed, the trust could be broken. Especially if it’s your best friend.

You try to forget your feelings, distracting yourself of your fear. Getting rid of all your emotions around them. All you can do is stand from afar and watch as your most loved one falls in love with someone else.

Then regretting every little moment. Wanting to erase everything. Wanting to reset and start from the beginning, but you can't.

Obsidian: He's hilarious. Like, actually. I loved it. You're writing style is great, although you could do with a few less murmurs and mutters. I know it sounds critical, but I have the same problem and I hate it. Overall, it was one of the best stories I've read on here so far. I liked it better than those M...
