Chapter 1
Emily stood in front of the building looking at her hands she remembered what happened to her last job. It was so dumb that she was fired something like that. Being a millionaire has its perks.
She sighed and entered the building. She walked in front at the reception, and a middle-aged woman smiled wàrmly at her "How may I help you".
"Ah, I have an appointment with Mr Andrew".
The woman gave her directions and Emily left after she mumbled thanks.
She was in the elevator remembering how things led her towards here. She lost her job and gained another job at the same time.
The elevator dinged, she walked and looked at the direction when she saw another girl at the front of the door.
She walked towards the girl but before she talked the girl beat to her "Ms.Wellings".
"Yes", Emily replied to her.
"You can proceed Mr.Andrew is expecting you". The girl who was much younger than the other woman earlier said to her
"Thanks".
"You are welcome". She said to her. May be every person working there was kind or they were treated well by their boss. But Emily didn't care or notice as she was in her own world.
Emily opened the door without giving another idea, her expression didn't change and there is no worry, nothing fazed her. She stood there looking at him not knowing what to do next.
"You may sit". He said to her closing the file he was reading.
She sat after she thanked him. "So Ms.Wellings, I think you are ready for the job, and we can skip the interview part as Ethan covered it".
"Yes sir", she said removing her resume from the bag.
Andrew looked through the file. "You are hired, you can go to the HR department for some checkings and get your id, tomorrow is the last day of the week so you can be off with the weekend, you can come the next Monday".
"Thanks, sir", she said again while her expression remained the same. She wanted to come tomorrow and work but maybe it was good to have a day off and be with her brother.
