Prologue
Unknown POV
There was a steadiness to her as if all the storms in the world were a whispering breeze if she was there. She was thoughtful, intelligent and creative, perhaps that’s why she captured my attention. She walked with thorough confidence, anyone would notice it, but no-one took their time to study her. I didn’t know why. I couldn’t help myself, she was a bright light to my dark life, she assisted others, she used her intellect to fix what others took pleasure in breaking. She would fix everything I broke. She was my flawless opposite, but at the same time, it was as if she was made for me. Confidence radiated off of her, and beauty lingered around her. I couldn’t wait to get to know her, but if I entered her life, there was something I had to tell her, and I didn’t want to be the person to let her know that her entire life was a lie.
