A fantasy noir if ever there was one
"Loved the story from start till end. The plot was a bit of a giveaway, by choice of the author, yet still it managed to keep me glued to the story. The author does a great job, writing what I would describe as a fantasy noir. Not really introducing any new fantasy-elements, but rather successfully leveraging proofed concepts, allowed to really focus on the story, which pays off in my humble opinion. Overall it reads away very easily, with some varied usage of language, in a good way, but also a few quickly written pieces that deserve some additional spell-checking. If you like a good detective noir, magic and a finished story, yet with an open ending for a sequel, then I can only recommend this book. Thank you for writing!"
