Summary

Poetry targeting hopelessness within the tragic embrace of physical challenges. Faced with the tableau of wheel chairs and walkers short and tall I surrender to the flights of word strokes of many colorful impressions. I do so lift my soul to lofty heights of my tragic inspiration as I bemoan the deep dark dispair of abject hopelessness in the halls of therapy that does so little to alleviate the desperate conditions of these brave combatants whom daily face their tragic lives.

Chapter 1

Blue shirts come, blue shirts go, they path the many varied means to convalesce but they secure not those meant for such but yet these are those forlorn and caught in anguish of despair for they have met the brick walls of their lives the walls that so slowly in other cases quickly did Silence the voices of the wolves in the wild that sing nature to bed each night so quiet does turbulence Roar within the hearts and minds of these defeated foes of infamy that lost their way and God Alone can say the why or how of Destiny perverse and cruel that chose this path so worn for those poor souls that are so wretched by will or might can we despair to know the means or wherewithal to bring some cheer and Bliss impart to these so many so Afflicted of our Humanity so tattered and torn a shadow of their former selves that lost in the darkness of circumstance must wonder who do we call to stem the tide of the wicked Waters storming wretched full of certain Doom let the despair of my walls so dark to circumvent that I may perhaps a clue to find to let me soothe my troubled mind that seeks to understand the imponderable to know that hope which hides just beyond my line of sight and lost.
