Chapter One

Dakota

Tying the laces of my white converse I heard the handle of the door creak as it pushed open.

"You ready?" I nodded still looking at the shoe.

"As I'll ever be," I rolled my eyes,

My mother had said how awesome a new school would be, she was very very wrong, this was going to suck. I liked my old school, the principal was too scared of me to kick me out and everyone left me alone.

My father told me over and over that the teenage years would be the time of my life, that this was prep for the cruel, unforgiving real world.

So that’s what I’m doing. Having the time of my life. This new school would just be a hinderance, another school for me to get kicked out of. Woo freaking how.

"You're wearing that?"

"Yes Daddy, I'm wearing this," I snapped glancing down at my black jumper with the white shirt sleeves, the black skinny jeans and my white cons. I thought I looked alright.

"Okay, come on. The final semester of your final year is waiting for my girl,"

"I said I'm coming!"

"Good morning beauty," my roommate cooed from across the island.

"Morning," sliding a plate over towards me I caught it quickly before it hit the floor,

"Sleep well?" I shook my head staring up at my roommate, her dark hair curled perfectly and falling down her back, much like mine. My blonde hair was icy, almost white and my eyes are the same colour of grey as my mothers. My dad always uses to comment on the fact our eyes changed colour with our mood, the darker the grey the darker the mood.

At least you'd think he knew when to stay away. "You'll have a great time, I promise, a change will do you good,"

"I'm going to eat this on the drive," she nodded, a small sympathetic smile on her face.

"There's orange juice on the deck, your brothers out there tell him to pour you some,"

"Which one?" I mocked. Living here in Miami was amazing, five roommates in my house. My mom and dad bought it for me and the identicals when we changed schools. The six bedrooms, six bathrooms and the den was perfect for us.

"Ez, now go!" She turned back to the stove as I pushed open the glass doors leading onto the deck. I watched as the crystal sea lapped onto the golden shore as Ez sat in the lounger, our house reminded me of the one from two and a half men, the view was almost identical.

"Alia said you were to pour me a drink,"

"Okay," he took the bottle from the table and filled it with the bright orange liquid, replacing the lid and tossing it my way.

"Where's thing one and two?"

"Er, I think you'll find I'm thing one, in the eldest,"

"I don't really think there is an eldest of triplets," he rolled his bright green eyes in my direction and grinned,

"Upstairs getting ready, I'm going like this," my eyes darted down his outfit which was a hell of a lot like mine, I grimaced.

"Yeah me too, see you later,"

"Don't do anything I wouldn't do," he called as I scooped my keys out of my bag and swung it back over my shoulder.

"Well that doesn't leave me with many rules," I heard him chuckle as I hopped into the car on the drive, the only reason I was finishing school. Bribery.

I swung my car into the parking space, resting my head on the steering wheel for just a second before jumping as a knock sounded on my window.

"Get our of this car right now and get your ass in here with me," I grinned as my best friend opened the door and pulled me out by my arm. Anna. Her fire red hair cutting off sharply under her chin and straightened until it rivalled a poker, her skin paler than mine but still very tanned for her ginger appearance.

"This is going to be hell," I moaned as she dragged me along the car park and into the courtyard.

"It won't be that bad! We're together, so what do you know?"

"Nothing, I literally have no gossip." She sighed at me, her mouth twisting into a bored smile.

"Where's your locker?" I shrugged, pulling my bag around to my front and reaching for the small scrap of paper with all the relevant information.

"5th corridor," she squealed, I grimaced.

"So's mine, this will be awesome!" I laughed as we walked slowly through the halls. Without warning a bell sounded throughout the halls as a group of girls walked my way,

"Oh my god!" The black haired one looked directly at me, she looked stuck up. just great.

"What?" I spat, shaking my head and pulling my lips into a pout,

"You're Seth's sister,"

"Yeah," I drawled out my word sarcastically, my eyes staring at her extremely made up face, eurgh, "and Ezras and hunters... anything else?"

"Well I didn't think you'd such a bitch," she turned giggling with the two girls trailing behind her, her posse.

"Do you really think at all?" I snapped before turning into the classroom to my left, this was not going to be fun at all.
